TNSTC – Villupuram, TNSTC – Coimbatore, TNSTC – Nagercoil, SETC Tamilnadu Ltd, Chennai, TNSTC – Salem, MTC, Chennai, TNSTC – Dharmapuri and TNSTC – Tirunelveli, invites Online application from eligible Graduate/Diploma holders in Engineering (passed during 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023), hailing from Tamil Nadu, for undergoing one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices: A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) w i th F ir s t C la ss granted by a Statutory University in relevantdiscipline. A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) w i th F ir s t C la ss granted by an Institution empowered to grantsuch degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Diploma Apprentices: A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a State Council or Board ofTechnical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Regular – Full time) granted by a University in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Non – Engineering training: A Degree in A r t s / S c i e n c e / C o m m e r c e / H u m a n i t i e s s u c h a s B A / B . S c . , / B . C o m / B B A / B C A e t c . , (Regular – Full time) granted by a Statutory University / Deemed University in relevant discipline. – UGC approved.
Salary Details:
Graduate Apprentices: Rs.9000/- Per Month
Diploma Apprentices: Rs. 8000/- Per Month
Non – Engineering training: Rs.9000/- Per Month

Selection Process:
Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is interested with the task of preparation of shortlist from the online application data. Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Certificate Verification at Metropolitan Transport Corporation(MTC) Training Centre, Chrompet (MTC Depot II Campus), Chennai – 44.
