BPRD 2023 Jobs Recruitment Notification.Bureau of Police Research and Development inviting applications for the positions of Principal Scientific Officer.Interested and Eligible candidates can apply for the positions.
Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) invites retired government servants for walk-in-interview for filling up posts on contract basis for a period up to 29.02.2024 and 31.08.2024 (extendable), or the date of completion of 05 years from the date of superannuation/vrs or maximum up to 05 years from the date of engagement in BPR&D or up to the date of completion of 65 years of age or until further orders, hichever is earlier. Retired Govt, servants without pension or from non- pensionary jobs are not eligible to apply for any post on contract basis. Government servants retired from lower substantive grade pay or level will not be eligible for consideration for appointment to a post having higher grade pay.

Qualification:
Principal Scientific Officer (Electronics): Master’s degree in Electronics or Communications Engineering from a recognized University with ten years’ experience in Research & Development or in dealing with Electronics Communication equipment or instruments in Central or State Government; or Government Research and Development Organisations or autonomous bodies; OR Bachelor’s Degree Electronics or Communications Engineering from a recognized University with twelve years’ experience in Research & Development or in dealing with Electronics Communication equipment or instruments in Central or State Government; or Government Research and Development Organisations or autonomous bodies.
Principal Scientific Officer (Life Science): Master’s degree in Science with Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Forensic Science as a subject from a recognized University with ten years’ experience in examination or Biological or Serological or DNA evidence material in Central or State Government; or Government Research and Development Organisations or autonomous bodies; or Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Molecular Biology or Biochemistry or Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Forensic Science as a subject from a recognized University with—twelve years.
Principal Scientific Officer (Traffic and Transport) : Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a recognized university with ten years of experience in maintenance of traffic control equipment or of maintenance work in automobile workshop on in the field or instrumentation or traffic engineering traffic safety, motor vehicle designing in Central or State Government or Government Research & Development Organizations or autonomous bodies , OR: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a recognized university with twelve years of experience in maintenance of traffic control equipment or of maintenance work in automobile workshop on in the field or instrumentation or traffic engineering traffic safety, motor vehicle designing in Central or State Government or Cover Research & Development Organizations or autonomous bodiest)
Principal Scientific Officer (Uniform and Accoutrement): Master’s degree in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology or Fashion Technology or Fashion I Designing from a recognized University with ten years’ experience in the field of textile technology and . design or in research and development in Central or State Government; or Government Research and Development Organizations or autonomous bodies; or Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology or Fashion Technology or Fashion Designing from a recognized University with twelve years’ experience in the field of textile technology and design or research and development in Central or State Government or Government Research and Development Organizations or autonomous bodies.
Principal Scientific Officer (Building): Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or in Architectural Planning and Design or in Architecture from a recognized University with ten years’ experience in construction of buildings in Central or State Government; or Government Research and Development Organisations or autonomous bodies; OR Bachelor’s Degree in civil Engineering or in Architectural Planning and Design or in Architecture from a recognized University with twelve years’ experience in construction or buildings in Central or State Government or Government Research and Development Organisations or autonomous bodies.
