Qualification:
Assistant Secretary: 186(1)(ia) Co-operation Act. (i) A recognized university degree with not less than 50% marks in all subjects and Co-operative Higher Diploma (HDC or HDC & BM of Kerala State Marks of Co-operative Union or HD of National Council for Co-operative Training .C or HDCM) or successfully completed Subordinate (Junior) Personnel Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation) or B.Sc/M.Sc (Co-operation) from Kerala Agricultural University & Banking) or B.Com Degree with not less than 50% marks in all subjects recognized by any university in Kerala and co-operation optional.

Candidates belonging to Kasaragod district shall have Cooperative Diploma Course (GDC) conducted by Karnataka State Cooperative Federation and Junior Diploma conducted by Kerala State Cooperative Union for appointment in Cooperative Societies/Banks in the said district. in Co-operation (.DC) will be the valuable basic qualification and B.Com Degree with Co-operation as an optional subject, or Graduation from any recognized University and Higher Diploma in Co-operation (Kerala State Karana Union’s HDC or HD .C and BM or HDC or HDCM of National Council for Co-operative Training) or successfully completed Commanderine Personnel Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-Operation), or Kerala B.Sc (Cooperation & Banking) holders of Agricultural University can also apply.
