Qualification:
Project Scientist III: Masters degree (M.Sc., M.Tech., M.Sc. (Tech.)) in Oceanic Sciences/ Atmospheric Sciences / Climate Sciences / Marine Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics / Mathematics / Zoology with Fisheries / Fishery Sciences [or] Masters degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical /Environmental / 2Chemical/ Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation [or] Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical / Environmental / Chemical from a recognized university/institute with at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree or its equivalent.
Project Scientist II: Masters Degree (M.Sc., M. Tech., M.Sc.(Tech.)) or B. Tech in Ocean Engineering/Naval Architecture/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university/institute with at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree or its equivalent.AND 3 (three) years of experience in one or more of the following areas demonstrated by publications in reputed peer-reviewed SCI journals.
Project Scientist I: Masters Degree (M.Sc., M. Tech., M.Sc. (Tech.)) in Atmospheric Sciences / Oceanic Sciences / Climate Sciences / Meteorology / Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Physics / Chemistry / Hydrochemistry / Chemical Oceanography / Mathematics / Environmental Sciences/Ocean Technology or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical/ Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree or its equivalent.
Project Assistant: B.Sc. with Computer Science or BCA or Three years Diplomas in computer engineering or computer technology or information technology from a recognized university/institute with at least 60% of marks in the qualifying degree or its equivalent.
Project Scientific Administrative Assistant: A Graduate degree in any discipline.
Salary Details:
Project Scientist III: Rs. 78,000/- Per month
Project Scientist II: Rs. 67,000/- Per month
Project Scientist I: Rs. 56,000/- Per month
Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- Per month
Project Scientific Administrative Assistant: Rs. 18,000/- Per month
