Eligibility Details:
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, a Govt. of Maharashtra undertaking- intends to recruit/appoint qualified & experienced professionals for Metro Project as detailed below on deputation basis.
1. Position: Chief Engineer (Civil) - Metro S-29 : 131100-216600
2. No. of Posts: 03
3. Appointment shall be made either by Selection or by Deputation of a suitable candidate as below:-
(a) By Selection from the candidates who possess the following
i) Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized & reputed university. Minimum 15 years experience.
ii) Candidate should have at least 5 years experience as Superintending Engineer in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector or its equivalent.
iii) Candidate should be conversant with international competitive bidding, computerized environment working and latest Civil Engineering Technologies etc.
iv) Should have experience of at least 3 years in Planning/Designing/ Construction of large infrastructure projects such as - elevated roads, flyovers, urban rail via ducts etc.
v) Should be conversant with modern construction technologies including precast segmental construction.
vi) EXPERIENCE OF WORKING ON METRO/RAILWAYS IS ESSENTIAL. OR
(b) By deputation from Government Department or Semi-Govt. organization including Public Sector Undertaking, if they possess the qualification and experience prescribed in (a) above.

3. The Appointment shall be made by :-
(a) Promotion of a suitable Executive Engineer who has put in at least 7 years as Executive Engineer in MMRDA after acquiring the following qualifications :-
Qualifications :- Graduate in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from recognized University/Institution OR
(b) If candidates by Promotion are not available, by Deputation from Govt.Departments, or semi Government organizations including Public Sector undertakings, if they possess the qualification and experience prescribed in (a) above; OR
(c) If the candidate by promotion or by deputation are not available, by Selection from amongst the candidates who possess the following :-
4. Qualifications :- Graduate in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from recognized University/Institution
5. Experience :- Total experience of 10 years of which at least 7 years should be in a responsible independent post equivalent to an Executive Engineer in related fields.
1. Position: Executive Engineer (Civil) S-23 : 67700-208700
2. No. of Posts: 03
3. Appointment shall be made either by selection or by deputation or by promotion of Deputy Engineer provided that the appointments made by selection should not exceed 25% of the posts. 75% of the posts shall be filled in by Promotion/deputation. For appointment by selection, the candidates shall possess the following
4. Qualificatins :-Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent
5. Experience :
Not less than 5 years in Civil Engineering work. In case of appointment by promotion of Deputy Engineer, the candidate should have at least 5 years service in that post if he is a Degree holder and at least 8 years of service in that post if he is a Diploma Holder
1. Position: Dy.Engineer Gr. I/ Asstt.Engineer (Civil) S-20 : 56100-177500

3. Appointment shall be made either by selection or by deputation or by promotion of a Junior Engineer provided that the appointments made by selection and deputation should not exceed 50% of the posts. For appointment by selection through public advertisement, a candidates shall possess the following
4. Qualification :-Degree or a Diploma in Civil Engineering or its equivalent
5. Experience : One year's experience in case of a Graduate and 5 years experience in case of Diploma Holder
Age Limit:
35 years for Reserved Category and 50 years for Open Category
General Terms and Conditions:
1. Age attained, Qualification acquired and Experience gained as on 31.05.2022 will only be taken into account. No addition or alteration therein will be made subsequent to the submission of application.
2. Necessary copies of the certificates alongwith originals are required to submit at the time of document verification/interview in support of the statements made in the application.
3. Only shortlisted/eligible candidates will be sent “Call letters” for interview and only selected candidates will be sent “Offer letter” for appointment. Neither any cognizance will be taken nor any correspondence will be made with rest of the candidates, which may please be noted
4. On Merit of the candidate Waiting List will be prepared, which will remain valid maximum upto one year depending upon the circumstances.
5. The selection of candidate is liable to be terminated / cancelled at any point of stage if the information submitted or statements made during the entire process of selection are found to be incorrect, invalid, fraudulent, suspicious and/or incomplete.
6. Recommendation and/or corrupt practice followed for selection of candidate will not be tolerable. Such misconduct of candidate will be treated as disqualified from entire process of selection/appointment.
7. Incomplete application will be rejected.
8. Selection will depend upon verification/confirmation of candidate’s original certificates. If candidate fails to show the relevant certificates at verification time, his/her name will stand cancel from the shortlisted list. No exemption/ extension or any kind of further request/excuse will be entertained
9. On confirmation about fulfilling the eligibility criteria and abovesaid terms & conditions candidates should fill up the application.
10. All the notifications, GRs, Circulars, orders etc. issued by the GoM from time to time are applicable to this recruitment process.
