b) Decommissioning of Nuclear Reactors in India under one roof, invites applications in the prescribed format for engagement of Trade Apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961 and The Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 in the Narora Atomic Power Station Plant Site, Narora, Dist.-Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), as per following details:-
ADVERTISEMENT NO: NAPS/HRM/APPRENTICE - ITI /01/2022
1. Position: Trade Apprentices
2. No of Post: 50
3. Stipend Per Month:
a) Rs. 7,700/- (for those who have been engaged after one year of ITI course)
b) Rs. 8,855/- (for those who have been engaged after two years of ITI course).
4. Duration of Apprenticeship: Maximum 01 Year
5. Qualification Required: ITI Pass Certificate in respective Trade
6. Place of Training: The place of training shall be Narora Atomic Power Station, Narora, Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh - 203389.
Age Limit
Minimum 14 years and maximum 24 years as on 16/06/2022. Relaxation upto 5 years for SC candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates and relaxation of 10 years for PwBD category as per Govt. of India Orders.
General Conditions:
1. Candidates should submit duly filled application in the prescribed online format only.
2. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 in any Government or PSU or Private Industrial Organisation are not eligible to apply.
3. Candidates are advised to have a valid and active personal e-mail id & mobile number till the completion of the Selection Process. No change in the email id and mobile number will be allowed once registered.
4. Management reserves the right to cancel or alter the number of seats of particular trade or even the entire process of engagement of apprentices without assigning any reason whatsoever.
5. Any person engaged to undergo apprentice training in a designated trade shall enter in to contract of apprenticeship with NPCIL as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. The contract of apprenticeship shall terminate on the expiry of the period of apprenticeship training. Any premature termination or extension of contract of apprentice shall be dealt as per the provisions of Act, 1961 read with Apprentices Rules, 1992 and amendments from time to time.
a) Those who absent themselves are liable to refund whole cost of their training as well as the amount received as stipend as determined by Central Apprenticeship Advisor.
6. The engagement and training are strictly in compliance with the provision of the Apprentices Act 1961, and there is no obligation for employment of the Apprentices on Completion of their training.
7. Police verification certificate: NPCIL, NAPS being highly protected area, apprentices will be engaged only after submission of Police Verification issued by District Police Authorities. In addition, the apprentice needs to submit Character/Conduct Certificate from the concerned institution.
8. All the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category shall produce self-attested copy of the caste certificate in the prescribed 'Central Government' format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificate along with originals for verification at the time of documents verification.
a) OBC certificate should be latest with suitable mention about Creamy layer / Non – Creamy layer status. OBC candidates with certificate having the "Non-Creamy Layer Clause" only will be eligible for reservation as per Government of India guidelines). The OBC applicants have to indicate their status as “Creamy Layer” or “Non Creamy Layer” as the case may be while filling online application.
9. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all the matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or objection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidate and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
10. No Hostel/ Transport facility shall be provided to the selected candidates for apprenticeship.
11. The apprentice after completion of the training shall have no right to claim any employment in NPCIL.
12. Obligation for employment: The engagement of apprentice is as per the provisions of Apprentices Act and therefore it shall not be obligatory on the part of NPCIL to offer any employment to any apprentice who has completed the period of his apprenticeship training nor shall it be obligatory on the part of apprentices to accept an employment under NPCIL.
13. The cut-off date for reckoning age limit, qualification etc. would be closing date prescribed for submitting online application i.e 16/06/2022.
Documents Required:
Candidates are required to submit invariably self-attested copy of the following certificates/documents as applicable to his /her case along with the print out of duly signed online application at the time of document verification with originals:-
1. Date of Birth certificate (Matriculation/10th marksheet)
2. Educational Qualification (10th / 12th marksheets)
3. ITI certificate and Mark sheets of all semesters/ years.
4. Other qualification/experience certificates, if any
5. Caste Certificates of those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)
6. Valid Certificate of EWS issued by Competent Authority
7. Physical Disability certificate in case of PwBD candidates
8. Police verification certificate issued by concerned Police Authority
9. Character/Conduct Certificate from the concerned Institution
10. Aadhar Card (Compulsory)
11. Recent passport size 4 photographs
12. Residential Proof of permanent address if living within 16 kms. radius of NAPS, Plant Site
Selection Process
1. Preference will be given to the eligible local candidates living within 16 km radius of Narora Atomic Power Station, Narora, Dist. Bulandshahr, UP.
2. Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage obtained by the candidate in the respective ITI trade .
3. In case of tie in the percentage of ITI marks, the candidate born earlier shall be considered.
4. In case of tie in the Date of Birth, candidates with higher percentage obtained in Matriculation will be placed higher on the merit list.
How to Apply
1. First, the candidate has to register himself/herself at the web portal of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship “https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in”.
2. Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria for a post may submit the application form available at the NPCIL website “www.npcilcareers.co.in”. Before applying, the candidate shall ensure his/her eligibility for apprentice training. The online application form will be available on the website from 27/05/2022 at 10:00 hrs and the online submission of application will be open until 16/06/2022 (16:00 Hrs.).
3. Those who have enrolled for apprenticeship in the web portal “https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in” , have to apply for the respective trade through the Establishment Registration No. E05200901473, the establishment Id for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, Narora Atomic Power Station. The applications will not be accepted, if not applied in the Establishment ID.
4. It is mandatory to input all the relevant information (such as SSC, ITI qualification duration of ITI Trade, Marks obtained in all Semesters, percentage of marks, contact mobile number, e-mail address etc.) to complete the registration and get the Registration number. Candidates are therefore advised to keep such information ready applying online.
5. Before applying online, candidates should scan photograph in JPGE format, of size not more than 50KB and a minimum of 125x165 pixels(4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions and signature in JPGE format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125x80 pixels (4.4x2.9 cm) in dimensions. The photograph should be in colour, with light coloured background, preferable white colour background and if candidates wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and candidates eyes can be clearly seen.
6. Printout of the online application form with valid signature & photo, along with all the supporting documents should reach at the following address on or before 07/07/2022 by 17:00 Hrs.
