Education Qualification :
In terms of Railway Board's letter No. dated 19/01/2022 the scheme for engagement of CMPs is extended up to 30.06.2022. Online recorded WhatsApp call interviews will be held to engage the CMPs from open market on full time contract basis who fulfill the eligibility criteria specified below up to 30.06.2022 or till the pandemic of Covid-19 continues whichever is earlier with the same terms as contained in Board's letters cited above. It may please be noted that this is purely a temporary measure, after which status quo ante will be restored.
1. Post Name : Medical Practioners (Doctors)
2. Remuneration :
a) CMP Rs. 75000/- per month
b) Retired Railway Doctors Rs. 75000/- per month
3. Educational/Professionl Qualifications:
a) Degree in Medicine i.e. MBBS (recognized by the Medical Council of India, included in the first or second schedule or part eleven, of the third schedule (other than the Licentiate qualifications to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956). Holders of educational qualifications in part II of the third schedule should also fulfil the condition stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
b) Candidates should have satisfactorily completed the compulsory Rotatory Internship.
4. For Specialist : Degree in medicine i.e. MBBS recognised by the Medical Council of India. A Post Graduate Qualification in the relevant subject/ field recognized by the Medical Council of India. 3 years experience in Clinical work after Post Graduation in the speciality concerned as on the date of interview is desirable.
5. Period of Contract:- The above mentioned engagement is purely a temporary measure up to 30.06.2022 or till the pandemic of Covid-19 continues whichever is earlier.
Age Limit
a) For open market Not exceeding 53 years as on date of notification relaxation for SC/ ST/ Ex Servicemen 5 years and OBC 3years CMP b) For Retired Below 65 years of age as on date of notification Railway Doctors
Notes:
1. Contract can be terminated by the Railway at any time during the contract period by giving 15 days notice without assigning any reason. Retired Doctors (CMPs) who enter into contract with the Railway will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service or automatic extension of the term of contract.
2. Services rendered as full-time contract Doctors will not have any bearing in respect of considering of their period in regular selection through UPSC, nor will it confer any right for regularization or absorption. The vacancy is provisional and may increase or decrease as per administrative necessity.
3. There may be 'wait-listed/ stand-by' candidates against the notified panel/ select list who may be engaged as per necessity.
4. The engagement of contract Medical Practitioner would be on full time contract basis for a period upto 30.06.2022 only from the date of joining.
5. Period of Contract:- The above mentioned engagement is purely a temporary measure up to 30.06.2022 or till the pandemic of Covid-19 continues whichever is earlier.
6. Doctors will be utilized in Quarantine, isolation centres and any other unit depending on the local requirement for handling COVID- 19 pandemic.
7. Daily rate of deduction from the pay, for absence will be made on pro-rata basis.
