3. Minimum Qualification:
I. SSLC Examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or its equivalent examination. OR Diploma in Commercial Practice / Secretarial Practice in English or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination to them by Universities or Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or Technical Board.
II. Senior Grade Examination in English Shorthand. OR Proficiency Grade Examination in English Shorthand; and
III.Senior Grade Examination in Typewriting in English conducted by the Department of Public Instruction of the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or equivalent qualification.
IV.Must have Knowledge of operation of Computers.
4. Scale of Pay: ` 44,900/- to ` 1,42,400/- with admissible allowances as per High Court of Karnataka (Officers & Officials) Revised Pay Rules 2018 (Level-7).
5. Probation: The applicant, if appointed, shall be on probation initially for a period of two years or for extended period, if necessary.
6. Nature of Disability:
a) Autism, intellectual disability, specific learning disability and mental illness
b) Multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (d) including deafblindness in the posts identified for each disabilities.
Age Limit:
As on the last date of submission of online application, the applicant must have attained the age of 18 years in respect of all categories and not attained the age of: 40 years in the case of a person belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Category-I of Other Backward Classes. 38 years in the case of a person belonging to Category II-A or II-B or Category III-A or III-B of Other Backward Classes; and 35 years in the case of a person belonging to General Merit.
Application Fees:
The candidates belonging to General Merit and Other Backward Classes [other than Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Category- I and Persons with bench mark disability (Physically Challenged)], shall pay an Application Fee of `.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Category–I and Persons with bench mark disability (Physically Challenged), shall pay an Application Fee of `. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty Only)
General Instructions to the Applicants:
1. Candidates shall read all the instructions carefully before submitting the online applications so as to avoid the mistakes.
2. Candidate must specifically indicate the Residual Parent Cadre/ Local Cadre of reservation in the column earmarked in the application under which candidate would like to be considered. Further candidate is not permitted to change the Residual Parent Cadre/Local Cadre claimed in the application. [Local Cadre means Reservation to the candidates belonging to Hyderabad Karnataka Region (Kalyana Karnataka)]
3. Candidates shall provide their Mobile number and valid E-mail ID (Mandatory) for communication at relevant columns while submitting online application. The authority is not responsible for non receipt of SMS or E-mail due to incorrect information.
4. To avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to submit the online applications well in advance. The website will accept the applications round the clock upto 07.04.2022 till 11.59 p.m.
5. The decision of the High Court of Karnataka will be final as to the eligibility of an applicant for Shorthand and Typing Test/ viva-voce or otherwise.
6. The list of eligible candidates short listed for Shorthand and Typing Test/viva-voce will be published on the High Court of Karnataka website-https://karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in.
7. Intimation will be sent to the eligible candidates through SMS message to cell phone and also an E-mail will be sent to E-mail ID. The list of short listed Candidates will also be notified on the High Court of Karnataka website: https://karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in/recruitment.php for downloading the ‘Call-Letter’. Candidate must bring his/her ‘Call-Letter’, at the time of appearing for the Shorthand and Typing Test/viva-voce.
8. Candidates shall have to appear for Shorthand and Typing Test/viva-voce, if called for, at their own expenses at the place and time decided and notified by the High Court of Karnataka.
9. Candidates shall produce the copy of ‘Call Letter’ and ‘Identity Proof’ (i.e., Voter ID or Aadhaar Card or PAN Card or Driving License or Ration card or Passport in Original as a proof of identity) while appearing for the Shorthand and Typing Test / viva-voce for verification.
10. Candidates while appearing for Shorthand and Typing Test/ viva-voce, shall produce all the original testimonials with a set of self attested photo copies i.e., Certificate of SSLC or its equivalent examination, English Senior Grade Typing Certificate, Certificates in case of Diploma in Commercial Practice/Secretarial Practice i.e., I to VI Semester/ I to III year, Convocation Certificate, Certificate of Senior Grade/Proficiency Grade Examination in English Shorthand, Computer basics training Certificate, Caste Certificate, Certificate for claiming Reservations, if any ( Rural/ Persons with Benchmark Disability (Physically Challenged)/ Ex-Servicemen/ Kannada Medium/ Displaced from Projects/ Widow/ Others (Transgenders)/Local Cadre), 2 Passport size photographs and Three Character Certificates (one from last studied educational institution and two from respectable persons) for verification purpose.
11. On the basis of marks obtained in Shorthand and Typing Test, candidates will be short listed for viva-voce.
12. Mere success in the Shorthand and Typing Test and/or viva-voce shall not confer any right to appointment and no candidate shall be appointed to the post unless the High Court of Karnataka is satisfied, after such enquiries as may be considered necessary that the candidate is suitable in all respects for appointment to the post.
