Qualification Details:
Deendayal Port Trust intends to engage 04 Nos. of Pilots (Marine) on contractual basis as per the Terms & Conditions.
1. Name of the Post: Pilots (Marine)
2. No of Post: 04
3. Essential:-
i) Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India.
ii) One year post qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign going ship.
Age:
Upper Age limit : Upto a maximum age of 65 years.
Instructions/ Conditions:
1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
2. Any canvassing / directly / indirectly by the candidate may disqualify his candidature,
3. The management of Deendayal Port Trust reserves the right to accept or reject any application without showing any cause / reason what so ever.
4. The management of Deendayal Port Trust reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for shortlisting for such engagement.
5. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, or rejection of the applications, reservation, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
6. Candidate selected, will neither be entitled to nor have any claim for any temporary / ad - hoc / regular employment in DPT during the said contract period or on completion of contract term.
7. Before appearing for the Virtual Walk-ln-Interview, candidate must ensure that he/she fulfills all eligibility criteria, stipulated by the Deendayal Port Trust, in the advertisement. The Deendayal Port Trust will however, take up the final verification of eligibility conditions i.e, educational qualification, experience, category etc., with reference to your original documents, before engagement.
8. The successful candidates shall have to present all original certificates, alongwith self — attested copies before reporting for duty.

The video conferencing link for Virtual Interview will be sent through emails to the shortlisted eligible candidates only.
