Recruitment to the posts of Post Graduate Teacher for 17 nos. of stand-alone Government Higher Secondary Schools under Department of School & Mass Education.
For recruitment to 335 (Three hundred thirty five) posts of Post Graduate Teacher for 17 nos. of stand-alone Government Higher Secondary Schools under Department of School & Mass Education carrying the pay at Level-10 and Cell-Ol of the Pay Matrix under ORSP Rules, 2017 with usual Dearness and other allowances as prescribed by the Government of Odisha from time to time. The posts are temporary but likely to be made permanent.

3. Qualification:
i. A candidate must have Master's Degree in subject concerned from a recognized University and have possessed two years Post Graduate Master's Course or integrated six years Post Graduate Master's Course from Regional College of Education recognized by the NCERT in the concerned subject;
ii. A candidate must have B.Ed. or equivalent degree recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi as equivalent with B.Ed. from a recognized University provided that B.Ed. qualification shall not be the mandatory eligibility criteria for the post of Post Graduate Teacher in the subjects where B.Ed. course is not offered.
iii. Degree or Diploma in Computer Application is desirable qualification subject to production of the certificate in support of above qualification obtained from a recognized University or College or Institution having affiliation to a recognized University.
Age:
A candidate must not be below the age of 21 (twenty one) years and above 32 (thirty two) years for fresh candidates as on the ISt day of January 2021 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1989 and not later than ISt January, 2000.
Application Fee:
A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs.400 /- (Rupees four hundred) only. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe of Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose permanent disability is 40% and more) are exempted from payment of this fee.
Documents Required:
1. Matriculation certificate in support of declaration of age issued by the concerned Board /Council;
2. Post-Graduation certificate/Master's Degree in the subject concerned in respect of educational qualification prescribed;
3. B.Ed. certificate;
4. Mark-sheets in support of all the Examinations(H.S.C, Intermediate/+2, Graduation/+3, Post
5. Graduation & B.Ed.) including fail marks, if any, issued by thc concerned Board/Council/University;
6. Degree or Diploma certificate in Computer Application in respect of educational qualification prescribed;
(vi) Two recent passport size photographs (unsigned & unattested) which has been uploaded with online application form.
(vii) Caste Certificate by birth in support of claim as S.T./S.C. and S.E.B.C. whichever applicable. (viii) Required Odia Pass Certificate from the competent Authority;
(ix) Permanent Disability Certificate (indicating percentage of permanent disability i.e. 40% and more);
(x) Ex-Servicemen are required to attach copy of Discharge Certificate issued by the Commanding Officer of the Unit last served. They must submit an affidavit undertaking that he/ she has not been appointed against any civil post after retirement from military service, wherever applicable;
(xi) Sports persons Certificate issued by the Director of Sports Odisha;
(xii) Any proof of identity.
Important Points:
(i) Onlinc applications submitted to ()PSC if found to be incomplete in any respect are liable to rejection without entertaining any correspondence with the applicants on that score:
(ii) Admission to Personality test/lntervicw will be provisional. If on verification any stage before or after the Personality test/lnterview, it is found that a candidate does not fulfil all the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature will be liable to rejection. Decision of the Commission in regard to eligibility or otherwise of candidate shall be final;
(iii) Concessions meant for ST/SC by birth are admissible to the Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste of Odisha only;
(iv) Community /Caste status once mentioned by the candidates under the appropriate box of the online application form will bc treated as final and the same shall not be changed subsequently under any circumstances.
(v) This advertisement should not be construed as binding on the Government to make appointment;
(vi) Any misrepresentation or suppression of information by the candidate in the online application, will result in cancellation of his/her candidature or penalty, as decided by the Commission be imposed on the candidate;
Selection Procedure :
1. The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of Career Assessment and Personality test /lnterview.
2. There shall be total marking of 100 marks. Out of 100 marks, the Career Assessment will be 70 marks and Personality test/ lnterview will be of 30 marks.
3. 70 marks of Career Assessment as mentioned may be calculated with following weightage:
N.B: Incase of Non-B.Ed. posts such as PGT Commerce, Anthropology and Sociology etc. the weightage for Post-Graduation will be 60%. (ii) Viva Voce test 30 Marks
4. Final select list will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in Career Assessment and Personality Test/interview, category wise.
5. "The candidates in three times of the total nos. of posts of Post Graduate Teachers in each category (subject wise) shall be shortlisted and shall be called for the Personality Test/lnterview on the basis of marks secured in Post- Graduation level, which shall be qualifying in nature".
How to Apply :
1. Online applications are invited from the prospective candidates through the proforma application to be made available on the Website of the Commission (http://opsc.gov.in).
2. The link for registration/re- registration and payment of examination fee shall be available from 18.12.2021 to 02.01.2022 (Note: 09.01.2022 is the last date for submission of Registered Online Application)
3. Candidates must go through the details of this Advertisement available in the Website of OPSC before filling up online application form.
4. Candidates must apply online through the concerned Website of the OPSC http.//opsc.gov.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
5. The candidates are advised to submit the Online Application Form well in advance without waiting for the closing date to avoid last hour rush.
6. "Intimation letters" to candidates for document verification & interview and "Attestation form" & "Bio-data form" shall be uploaded in the website of OPSC prior to the date of Document Verification/ Interview.
7.
