6. Monthly Stipend payable (in Rs.):
I. Trade apprenticeship:
i. Rs. 7700/- per month* (for apprentices who have completed ITI course having duration of 1 year)
ii. Rs. 8,050/- per month* (for apprentices who have completed ITI course having duration of 2 years)
iii. Rs. 9,000/- per month* (for apprentices who have completed Graduation Degree course having duration of 3 years & above)
II. Apprenticeship for Diploma Engineering disciplines: Rs. 8,000/- per month
III. Apprenticeship for Degree Engineering disciplines: Rs. 9,000/- per month
7. The period for Apprenticeship Training for will be 15 months, while for the rest, the same will be one year
8. The stipend rates may vary from time to time subject to any amendments prescribed by Deendayal Port Trust or respective Boards for Apprenticeship Training or as per Ministry’s directive. In any case, DPT’s directions / orders will be treated final.

Documents Required:
The merit list (s) will be uploaded on DPT website - www.deendayalport.gov.in. The provisionally selected candidates will be informed for document verification through registered E-mail ID, during which the candidates will be required to produce following documents (in original) along with 1 set of photocopies:
1. Passport size photo
2. Aadhar card (with matching name as per ITI / Graduation / Diploma Engineering / Degree Engineering Certificate)
3. SSC / Matriculation Mark sheet
4. School Leaving Certificate
5. All ITI / Graduation / Diploma Engineering / Degree Engineering Certificate & Mark sheets
6. Caste Certificate [SC / ST / OBC (NCL)] (if applicable)
7. Certificate of Physically Handicapped (if applicable)
8. Proof for reservation w.r.t. Ex. Serv. (if applicable)
9. Aadhar linked bank account having in State Bank of India
Note:
1. Candidates with qualification acquired through Distance Learning mode / Part time mode / Correspondence mode shall not be considered.
2. Any canvassing directly / indirectly by the applicant may disqualify his / her candidature.
3. The candidature of applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates / testimonials. In case it is detected at any stage of engagement or thereafter, that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and / or that he / she has furnished any incorrect / doctored / false, information / certificate / documents or has suppressed any material fact (s), his / her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is / are detected even after engagement, his / her engagement is liable to be terminated.
4. No Travelling, Boarding or lodging expenses are admissible to the candidates for participating in selection process or for joining at place of posting (in case of selection).
5. No. of apprentices required and duration of apprenticeship training may vary subject to any amendments prescribed by Deendayal Port Trust or RDSDE / BOAT.
6. Deendayal Port Trust reserves right to accept or reject any application without showing any cause / reason what so ever. In a particular trade, if suitable candidates are not available, those posts may be transferred to other trades at the sole discretion of Deendayal Port Trust.
7. The selected candidates will be governed by the terms and conditions as per Apprenticeship Act of 1961 and further amendments made therein.
8. DPT shall have no obligation to offer employment to Apprentices during and / or after the completion of the apprenticeship period nor can the apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of apprenticeship.
9. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance, or rejection of the applications, reservation, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
10. Bus facility for reaching at training place will be provided to Apprentices at nominal concessional rates.
11. F-Type quarters will be provided to Apprentices on twin sharing basis on nominal rates, subject to availability.
Selection Procedure :
1. Eligible candidates will be provisionally selected on merit basis. The merit will be prepared on the basis of ‘Sum of marks obtained in all semesters / years’ and ‘Sum of total (maximum) marks in all semesters / years’ [as declared by the candidate in submitted application on DPT website – www.deendayalport.gov.in].
2. If CGPA / C.P. / Grade / Scale / Point or other nomenclature is mentioned in the curriculum, then the same is to be converted into the Percentage Score as per the rules and shall be inserted (out of Maximum Marks i.e. 100).
3. Candidate will himself / herself be held responsible with regard to the correctness of marks declared while filling the application form on DPT website – www.deendayalport.gov.in.
4. No correspondence will be entertained / no communication will be made with reference to the incorrect or false details provided by candidate.
How to Apply :
1. The notification w. r. t. engagement of apprenticeship in Deendayal Port Trust has been hosted on the www.deendayalport.gov.in.
2. For Trade apprenticeship
Step 1: Interested & eligible candidates are first required to register through https://apprenticeshipindia.org - ‘Register’ - ‘Candidate’ and get ‘Apprenticeship Registration no.’ (of 10 digits, starting with ‘A’) and ‘Activate’ their Login account. The application will not be entertained without complete updation of respective profile which requires following details to be submitted mandatorily (online) after Login:

b. Education details (with attachment of scanned copy of Certificate)
c. Trade preference
d. Aadhar Verification

4. In past, it has been noticed that Apprenticeship contract registration has failed due to mismatching of ‘Name’ in Aadhar card & ITI / Qualification Degree Certificate. Thus, candidates are requested to produce matching details as per the Qualifying certificate.
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’ – link available in ‘Recruitment’ section of DPT website – https://www.deendayalport.gov.in/Career.aspx and ‘Sign Up’ after filling the necessary details (for first time user).
5. Then, please ‘Sign In’ through available Login page. After filling all the data blanks (which are to be filled in mandatorily), an acknowledgment for successful submission of application will be received.
6. User can edit their submitted details through ‘Edit’ option available after Login to their application page, before the final date of application. However, the last successfully submitted application will be treated as final.
7. Last date of Application is 31/12 /2021.
8. Candidates are requested to complete the application procedure well in advance to avoid the ending days’ rush on website.
9. (B) For Diploma & Degree Engineering apprenticeship
Step 1: Interested & eligible candidates of Diploma & Degree Engineering disciplines are first required to register on http://mhrdnats.gov.in > ‘Enroll’ & get ‘Enrollment number’ (of 16 digits) by submitting necessary details (online).

ii. The application will not be entertained without above mentioned Enrollment.
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply Now’ – link available in ‘Recruitment’ section of DPT website – https://www.deendayalport.gov.in/Career.aspx and ‘Sign Up’ after filling the necessary details (for first time user).
10. Then, please ‘Sign In’ through available Login page. After filling all the data blanks (which are to be filled in mandatorily), an acknowledgment for successful submission of application will be received.
