Qualification Details:
Applications are invited from sportspersons who have any of the following achievements in Basketball (Men & Women), Volleyball (Men & Women), Football (Men) and Tennis (Men) disciplines for appointment in Kerala State Electricity Board Limited under Sports Quota for the year 2021.

2. Number of vacancies:- The present selection is for 15 vacancies for the following disciplines.
a. Basketball (Men) - 3 nos.
b. Basketball (Women) - 2 nos.
c. Volleyball (Men) - 2 nos.
d. Volleyball (Women) - 3 nos.
e. Football (Men) - 4 nos.
f. Tennis (Men) - 1 no.
a. Those who have represented the Country in International competitions during the current year or immediately preceding three years, ie from 1st January 2018 to till date.
b. Those who have represented the State in Junior / Youth / Senior category in National championships during the current year or immediately preceding three years, ie from 1st January 2018 to till date.
c. Those who have represented the State in National Games during the current year or immediately preceding three years, ie from 1st January 2018 to till date.
d. Those who have represented University in the Inter Zone Championship conducted under the auspices of the Association of Indian Universities during the current year or immediately preceding three years, ie from 1st January 2018 to till date.
e. Those who have attended the coaching camp of the National team during the current year or the immediately preceding three years in respective disciplines ie from 1st January 2018 to till date.
3. i. Assistant Engineer (Electrical) (59100 – 117400): Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering from the Universities in Kerala or its equivalent qualification
ii. Assistant Engineer (Civil) (59100 – 117400): Degree in Civil Engineering from the Universities in Kerala or its equivalent qualification
iii. Sub – Engineer (Electrical) (41600 – 82400): Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering of the University of Kerala or a Diploma recognized as equivalent thereto.
iv. Sub – Engineer (Civil) (41600 – 82400): Diploma in Civil Engineering of the University of Kerala or a Diploma recognized as equivalent thereto.
v. Meter Reader (31800 – 68900): i) Pass in 8th Std. Examination or its equivalent. ii) National Trade certificate in the Trade of Electrician/ Wireman/Electronics or its equivalent.
vi. Junior Assistant / Cashier (31800 – 68900): Graduation from a recognized university
vii. Office Attendant (Grade – II) (24400 – 43600): i) Literacy in Malayalam/ Tamil/ Kannada. ii) Knowledge in Cycling (for male candidates only)
viii. Mazdoor (Electricity Worker) (24400 – 43600): i) Pass in Std.IV and should not have passed Std.X ii) Knowledge of Cycling (for male candidates only)

Candidates should have completed eighteen years and should not have completed twenty four years of age as on the date of the notification.

Documents Required:
1. Copies of documents in support of age and date of birth.
2. Copies of documents to prove educational qualifications (including mark list) and experience.
3. Copies of documents obtained from Sports Organizations / Universities concerned, which conducted the Championship clearly specifying the year and month of participation to prove the achievements in sports mentioned in paragraph 1 of this notification. Certificates issued by any other Association / Organisation will not be accepted.
4. Two copies of recent passport size photographs of the candidate one pasted and signed by the candidate on the application form and the other with the identification certificate (prescribed in Annexure II) duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

Selection Process :
1. The selection of candidates for appointment will be determined by the total marks obtained on the basis of achievements in the field of sports / games as given in above, field selection trials and interview.
2. When a candidate has a number of achievements in the discipline his best achievement shall alone be considered for marks as per the norms of the Kerala State Sports Council.
3. The field selection trials will be conducted by a panel of experts in each discipline constituted by the Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd.
4. Interview of the candidates will be conducted by an Apex committee constituted by the KSEBL for the purpose.
5. The KSEBL may, on recommendations of the apex committee or by it’s own restrict the number of candidates to be selected under each discipline.

5. The applications having the following defects / irregularities will summarily be rejected;
(i) Without application fee
(ii) Incomplete or illegible.
(iii) Unsigned.
(iv) Without the requisite number of photographs and enclosures.
(v) Unattested copies of documents.
(vi) Identification certificate not properly authenticated.
(vii) Applications submitted without No Objection Certificate from the employer in case of candidates who are already employed in the service of the Government of India or any State Governments or employed with any Public Sector Undertakings of the said Governments.
