Qualification Details:
Centre for Endangered Languages (CFEL), Visva-Bharati invites applications from Indian nationals for the following Academic, Administrative and Technical posts on purely temporary /contractual basis:
Name of the Post: Laboratory Assistant (ICT)
1. Essential Qualification:
(i) MCA/ M. Tech. in computer science from an Indian University. (AICTE/ DOEACC).
(ii) Experience in software development.
2. Desirable Qualification:
(i) Expertise in linguistic programming.
(ii) Experience in font designing and UNICODE processing
3. Salary: Pay Band of Rs. 5,200-20,200/, with GP of 2000/- As Per 6th CPC
Name of the Post: Laboratory Assistant (Video Production)
1. Essential Qualification:
(i) Degree/ Diploma in relevant discipline from an Indian University/ institute.
(ii) Experience video/ audio/ image editing.
2. Desirable Qualification: Expertise in documentary making
3. Salary: Pay Band of Rs. 5,200-20,200/, with GP of 2000/- As Per 6th CPC
Application Fee:
For Pay Band of Rs.37400-67000: Rs. 2000. For Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100: Rs. 1600. For Pay Band of Rs. 5,200-20,200 and others: Rs. 500/-
General Conditions:
1. All these posts are co-terminus with the Centre for Endangered Languages (CFEL) and applicants will not claim for permanent appointment in Visva-Bharati.
2. Applications received after the closing date or incomplete in any respect will not be considered.
3. The eligibility of an applicant shall be determined in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2018 and its subsequent amendments from time to time.
4. Candidates must fulfil essential qualification/ experience on the last date of application. All educational qualifications must have been obtained from recognized University / Institute only.
5. Selection/ appointment; employment will be subject to fulfillment of required qualification, experience etc. as also to verification of testimonials, antecedents and past service. If it is found at any stage that any information has been suppressed or wrongly falsely provided or any fraud has been committed, the application/ appointment, employment of the concerned applicant will be rejected/ cancelled/ terminated summarily.
6. Candidates should enclose self attested copies of certificates towards the evidence of Educational Qualifications, Caste Certificate, Physical Disability, Experience ete. with the applications.
7. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification of the candidature.

Selection Process :
Essential qualification/ experience prescribed are the minimum and mere possession of them will not entitle an applicant to be called in for interview the number of candidates shortlisted for interview may be subjected to a reasonable limit based on qualification and experience.
