Applications are invited from eligible individuals for filling up two posts of Life Guards in North Eastern Police Academy, Umsaw, Umiam, Ri-Bhoi District, Meghalaya, purely on outsourcing basis for a period of one year from the date of engagement or till attaining the age of 65 years or till regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. Pay and other eligibility criteria are given below:
1. Post Name: Life Guards (Group "C" Non- Gazetted) , Non- Ministerial.
2. No. of Post: 02
3. Remuneration: Pay Level-2 in the pay matrix Rs. 19,900- 63,200/- (Remuneration for other than retired personnel: Rs. 25,472/-i.e. Basic+ DA @28%6) Remuneration for the personnel retired from Govt. service will be fixed as per their "Last pay drawn minus monthly pension before commutation plus Dearness Allowance(DA) n the date of engagement.
4. Period: Period of one year from the date of engagement or till attaining
5. Educational qualification& Experience(Copy of certificates must be attached): Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or equivalent; and Possessing: Certificate in swimming from a recognized institute of sports; and Two years practical experience as Life ii) Guard or Swimming job in a Government or Commercial Organization.
6. Desirable: Diploma in Swimming from a recognized instiute af sports
7. Nature of Duties: Foi giving swimming training to the trainees and for safety reasons

Age of 65 years as on 3011012021 or till regular incumbent join
Other Terms and conditions:
1. Paid leave of absence may be allowed@ 1.5 days for each completed month of service. Accumulation of leave beyond a calendar year may not be allowed
2. The contractual appointee shall not be entitled for CGHS, Medical reimbursement etc.
3. Medical facilities to the appointee and his wife including children will be provided in the NEPA hospital only. No referral facility will be extended to appointee and his family members.
4. The contract appointment will not bestow on him any right for claiming regular appointment in the Academy.
5. The Academy reserves the right to cancel the entire selection, without assigning any reasons and without incurring any liability thereof.
