Qualification Details:
Scientific Analysis Group (SAG) under DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, is a leading laboratory working on the area of Cryptology. Nine positions of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) are to be filled up at SAG by an online process. The candidates would initially be selected for a period of two years to work in the area of cryptology.

3. Educational Qualification/ Specialization:
a) Mathematics: Post Graduate degree in Mathematics in First division with NET qualified.
b) Computer Science Engineering (CSE)/ Information Technology (IT)/ Computer Science (CS): B.E B.Tech degree in CSE/IT/CS with first division and valid NET/GATE Score. or M.E M.Tech in the relevant field with First division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.
c) Electronics Engineering(EE)/ Electronics & Communications Engincering (ECE): B.E B.Tech degree in EE/ECE with first division and valid NET/GATE Score. or M.E M.Tech in the relevant field with First division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.
4. Desirable:
a) Mathematics: Knowledge of Computer Programming in C/C++, Java
b) Computer Science Engineering (CSE)/ Information Technology (IT)/ Computer Science (CS): Knowledge of basic cryptology, Java, Python
c) Electronics Engineering(EE)/ Electronics & Communications Engincering (ECE): Knowledge of Computer Programming in C/C++, VHDL, Verilog
5. Fellowship Emoluments: Junior Research Fellow will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 31000/- plus HRA and Medical facilities as per rules. Contingency grant of Rs 15000/- per annum is also admissible.
Age:
The upper age limit for all the above fellowships is maximum of 28 years as on the closing date of advertisement. 5 years relaxation to SCIST and 3 years to OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates.
General Conditions and Instructions:
1. Only Indian Nationals who have complcted the course and have becn awarded degrce/ provisional certificate are eligible to apply.
2. Candidates working in Govt./Public Sector/ Autonomous bodies should produce "No Objection Certificate" from the concerned authority before the conduct of interview.
3. Incomplete/partially filled applications would not be accepted. Also, the candidature is liable to be rejected if any mismatch is noticed (before/after interview) in details regarding qualification, branch, percentage of marks or non-fulfilment of any of the above criteria.
4. The offer of fellowship will under no circumstances confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO.
5. The number of fellowship as indicated above may vary depending on Laboratory requirements.
6. The selected candidates will be required to join SAG within two weeks from the date of offer letter. The tenure of the fellowship will be initially for a period of two years and based on performance, it may be extended maximum up to 05 years.
7. The candidate may be allowed to register for Ph.D with any University/ Institution during the tenure of fellowship.
8. No TA/DA will be paid for joining if selected.

Selection Process :
1. All applications shall be screened by the screening committee and subsequently short-listed candidates will be called for Online interview.
2. Candidates should be in possession of valid e-mail ID and active mobile number for contact throughout the recruitment process as the date and timing of the Interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates through E-Mail/SMS.

3. The candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the ficlds along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents as asked in the online application. However, the candidates will have to produce original documents (dcgree certificate/ marksheets/ valid gate score/ caste certificates (if applicable)) at the time of Joining.
4. The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mentionced in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university normns.
