Online applications are invited for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) in Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL), Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL) & Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) as per details given hereunder

Note:
(a) Number of vacancies may change at the discretion of CSPHCL.
(b) For the post of Junior Engineer, the candidates with Domicile of Chhattisgarh (C.G.) are only eligible to apply.
(c) Candidate applying for Junior Engineer-(Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Civil) can apply for any one branch only. Single application needs to be filled by the Candidate against the separate branch-wise post advertised for the three C.S. Power Companies.
(d) At the time of document verification, the candidate needs to submit their option for the choice of the Power Company.
(e) This recruitment is subject to the final outcome/decision of Hon'ble High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur in pending Writ Petition (C) No. 591/2012, 592/2012, 593/2012 & 594/2012. Accordingly category wise vacancies may be changed.
Other Terms And Conditions:
1. In case of large number of candidates in a particular city, the Centre opted by the candidates as first preference, may not be allotted and candidates will be asked to appear at 2nd/3rd preference or any other new city.
2. In case of less number of candidates in a particular city, the examination Centre in that particular city may be cancelled.
3. The decision on allotment of Centre by CSPHCL will be final. The document verification will be held at Raipur.
4. The selected candidates can be posted in any of the Chhattisgarh State Power Company i.e. CSPDCL/ CSPTCL/ CSPGCL based on option given by them, availability of vacancies and also subject to the merit list of the respective branch.
5. CSPHCL has no mechanism to check the certificates as the candidates are applying online.
6. If, at any stage the certificate of the candidate is found to be forged/fictitious/bogus, the candidature of such candidate shall be cancelled and action shall be taken according to the law. In case the candidate is ineligible, the application shall be rejected.
7. Only those departmental candidates, if selected, shall be eligible to be issued appointment order who are certified by the HOD as not having any pending disciplinary proceeding or undergoing/ contemplated or under punishment period.
8. Candidates serving in Govt. / Quasi Govt. / PSU are required to submit "NOC" from their employer at the time of document verification, failing which candidature Of such candidate may be rejected.
9. Selection to the post shall be provisional subject to verification of the character / antecedents / verification of the caste certificate / other documents submitted by the candidate.
10., The selected candidates will be governed by Chhattisgarh State Power Companies rules and regulations as amended from time to time.
11. The selected candidates after regularization will be governed by the National Pension System (NPS) as adopted/ amended by the Power Company from time to time
12. The candidate must bring print out of e-Admit Card at the Examination Centre along with original ID Proof.
13. No candidate shall be allowed entry without this e-Admit Card and original ID proof i.e. Voter Identity Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport or Aadhar Card.
14. The identity of the candidate will be matched from the ID proof. In addition, the Candidates are also advised to carry 02 recent coloured passport size photographs in the examination Centre.
15. In case candidate is unable to get the admit card, he/ she must contact personally at the facilitation centers to be opened I day before the online CBT.
Selection Procedure :
a) The selection process involves online computer based test of 2 Hours duration. Online computer based test (CBT) shall comprise of 100 objective type questions with Multiple Choice answers consisting of Part I - 80 questions related to professional subject and Part II - 20 questions to judge the general awareness and reasoning.
b) Based on the merit of online CBT, maximum three times candidates against one available vacancy (1:3 ratio) in each category for every branch shall be called for document verification at Raipur. The date & venue of document verification shall not be changed in general.
c) Final selection shall be based on merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in online CBT. The selection will be subject to condition that candidates fulfills all the required qualification and criterias prescribed for such appointment and submit all necessary certificates/ documents.
d) The minimum qualifying marks for UR/OBC category shall be 40% and for SC/ST category shall be in Online CBT. For every correct answer One mark shall be awarded.
e) For every wrong answer 1/4 mark (i.e. 0.25 mark shall be deducted. No marks shall be awarded for un-attem ted uestions. The question paper will be in English and Hindi only.
f) However, in case of any typographical error or any interpretation issue in Hindi, the English version of the question paper shall prevail.
