Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA/ Authority), is a statutory regulatory body in the financial sector established under PFRDA Act (23 of 2013) passed by the Parliament of India with the mandate to promote, develop and regulate the Pension Sector in India.

3. Educational Qualification and Experience (As on 31.07.2021):
a) General - Master's Degree in any discipline, Bachelor's Degree in Law, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized University, CA, CFA, CS, CWA.
b) Actuarial - Graduation from a recognised University / Institute AND Pass or exemption in all Seven (07) 'Core Principles' subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of lndia (lAl) Examination.
c) Finance & Accounts - Graduation from a recognized university AND Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) or Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) from ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India)/ Associate Cost and Management Accountant (ACMA) [erstwhile Associate of Institute of Cost & Works Accountant of India (AICWA)] or Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA) [erstwhile Fellow of Institute of Cost & Works Accountant of India (FICWA)] from Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) [erstwhile Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India (ICWAI)] / Associate Company Secretary (ACS) or Fellow Company Secretary (FCS) from Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from CFA Institute.
d) Information Technology - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (electrical / electronics and communication / information technology / computer science) / Masters in Computer Application / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in computers / information technology. Minimum Experience: Post Qualification experience of two (02) years in the field of Information Technology.
e) Official Language (Rajbhasha) - Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit/ English/ Economics/ Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized University / Institute.
f) Research (Economics) - Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics.
g) Research (Statistics) - Master’s Degree in Statistics.
4. Pay: The pay scale of Officers in Grade ‘A’ is Rs. 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)-46600- EB1750(4)-53600- 2000(1)-55600 (17 years). Presently, the gross emolument includes PFRDA’s contribution towards National Pension System (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance and Housing Allowance.
5. Benefits: Other benefits include viz., Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses (Hospitalisation and Non-Hospitalisation), Personal Accident Insurance, Eye Refraction/ Cost of Spectacles, Education Allowance, Financial Dailies, Book Grant, Briefcase, Conveyance Expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, Staff Furnishing Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers and all other benefits as are admissible to an Officer Grade ‘A’ in PFRDA. Total CTC consisting of Pay and Benefits for the post of Officer Grade ‘A’ at the beginning of scale of pay would be approx. Rs. 18.00 Lacs per annum.

Age Limit (as on 31/07/2021): A candidate must not have exceeded the age of thirty (30) years as on July 31, 2021 i.e., candidate must have been born on or after August 01, 1991.

General Instructions:
a. Candidate who is eligible and desires to apply for the above post should submit an ON-LINE application with requisite fee (wherever applicable). No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
b. Fees sent in any other manner not prescribed in this advertisement and / or the application submitted without depositing the fee/ intimation charges would be rejected and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
c. Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. Candidates seeking reservation/ relaxation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS/Ex-servicemen must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation/ relaxation as per eligibility prescribed. At the time of the interview, they should also be in possession of all the requisite certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim as stipulated for such benefits and these certificates should be dated earlier than the due date (closing date) of the application.
d. If the candidates are not eligible or have knowingly or willfully furnished incorrect or false particulars or suppressed material information, their candidature will be liable to be cancelled at any stage of the selection. If the candidate qualifies in the selection process and subsequently it is found that he/she does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature will be cancelled and if appointed, the appointment would be terminated without any notice or compensation.
e. Candidates who are already in service of Govt./ Quasi-Govt. Organizations and Public Sector Banks/ Undertakings will have to produce a "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from their employer, at the time of Interview. Before appointment in PFRDA, a proper discharge certificate from the employer will have to be produced.
f. Outstation candidates called for Interview will be reimbursed single AC Three Tier return railway fare for journey by the shortest route, subject to submission of necessary documentary evidence.
g. PFRDA does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date.
h. In all matters regarding eligibility, conduct of examinations, interviews, assessment, prescribing minimum qualifying standards in both the Examination and Interview, in relation to number of vacancies and communication of result, PFRDA's decision shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard. Further, PFRDA reserves the right to relax any of the requirements for the candidates in deserving cases. PFRDA also reserves the right to cancel the advertisement, fully or partly on any grounds.
i. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.

k. Any resultant dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts situated at New Delhi only (with the exclusion of all other Courts).

3. Phase - I On-line Examination Will be intimated on the website of PFRDA at www.pfrda.org.in.
4. Phase - II On-line Examination Will be intimated on the website of PFRDA at www.pfrda.org.in.
5. Phase – III Interview Will be intimated to candidates successful in Phase II by E-mail/SMS.
Selection Procedure :
Mode of selection shall be a three-stage process i.e. Phase I (on – line Screening examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), Phase II (on – line examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each) and Phase III (Interview).
1. Phase I On – line Examination: An on – line screening examination consisting of two papers (Multiple Choice questions of 100 marks each) will be held on a date to be declared on the website of PFRDA, shortly.
i. There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for the Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase I.
ii. Candidates would need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut-off marks in Phase I to be shortlisted for Phase II.
iii. The minimum aggregate cut-off marks for being shortlisted for Phase II will be decided by the Authority in relation to the number of vacancies.
iv. Marks obtained in Phase I shall be used only for shortlisting candidates for Phase II and will not be counted for final selection of the candidates.
v. Qualified candidates will be intimated the date and time for Phase II by e- mail and/or call letter and list of such candidates will also be made available on the website of PFRDA.
2. Phase II On – line Examination: An on – line examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each will be held on a date to be declared on the website of PFRDA.
i. Candidates shortlisted for Phase II will be issued new call letter.
ii. For candidates who have applied in multiple streams, Paper II will be conducted in various shifts, the timings of which will be intimated in the call letter.
iii. There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for the Paper 2 in Phase II.
iv. Candidates would need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as well as aggregate cut-off marks in Phase II to be shortlisted for Phase III.
v. The minimum aggregate cut-off marks for being shortlisted for Phase III will be decided by the Authority in relation to the number of vacancies.
vi. Paper 2 will be evaluated only of such candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in Paper 1.
vii. Qualified candidates will be intimated the date and time for Phase II by e- mail and/or call letter and list of such candidates will also be made available on the website of PFRDA.
