Qualification Details:
Applications are invited from the interested and eligible officials working in the Central Government Departments for the posts of UDC and Steno Gr.ll in Mercantile Marine Department, Chennai District (Visakhapatnam/Chennai/Tuticorin) by transfer on deputation basis. The deputation will be initially for 03 years or post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier. The eligibility and other details required for the posts are as below:-
Subject: Filling up the post of Steno Grade II & Upper Division Clerk at Mercantile Marine Department, Chennai/ Vishakhapatnam under Directorate General of Shipping on deputation basis -Reg.
1. Post Name :Upper Division Clerk
2. Number of Posts: 05 in MMD, Chennai
3. Classification of post: General Central Service (Group C - non-gazetted non-ministerial )
4. Scale of Pay: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-Rs. 81 , ICO of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
5. Eligibility Conditions: Holding analogous post on regular basis, OR With minimum of 8 years regular service in the post of LDC in Level -2 of pay matrix of 7th CPC / PS-I with GP 1900 in 6th CPC.
6. Educational Qualifications: Higher Secondary or its equivalent from the rea)gnised Board / University.
