Qualification Details:
The Institute plans to engage project personnel (Indian national only) and invites application over email followed by an online interview for engaging, one (01) Project Scientist- III, two (02) Senior Project Associate and six (06) Project Associate-I for a project on purely contractual basis.
Recruitment of project personnel for Project “Preparation of Integrated Wildlife Action Plan comprising of mitigation and compensating measures with landscape approach of entire forest area in Hazaribagh Wildlife Forest Division, Hazaribagh West Forest Division and Koderma Forest Division in the impact zone of the Koderma Detour of DFCCIL project”
1. Position: Project Associate-I
2. Educational qualifications:
a. Essential: Masters’ Degree in Wildlife Science/ Ecology/Biodiversity Conservation/ Forestry/ Anthropology/ Social Sciences /Environmental Sciences or related subjects with 1 year experience in relevant field.
b. Desirable: Previous work experience of wildlife survey/ research experience in species identification, natural history of respective taxa (Vegetation/birds, mammals/herpetofauna/ aquatic component, socioeconomic surveys) with strong communication skills.
3. Work Description: The selected candidates will carry out field investigations on the assessment of wildlife values; assist data entry, data analysis, report writing and all other related works assigned by the project investigator.

1. The shortlisted candidates will be notified (through email and website notification) for online personal interview by 16.09.2021. The interview will be held on 20.09.2021. from 1000 hrs onwards. The selection will be made based on the online personal interview scheduled on 20.09. 2021.

The (SOP) should be compulsorily attached with the application stating the purpose clearly for applying to this position. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
