NIRDPR, Hyderabad proposes to empanel the retired officers to function as Inquiry Officers to conduct the departmental inquiries under Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965 read with DoPT guidelines issued from time to time as per the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
1. Post Name: Inquiry Officer
2. To conduct inquiry against: Group A officers
3. Eligibility criteria:
(i) Officers retired in Pay Level 14 and above (7th CPC) from All India Service / Central Government / State Government or corresponding equivalent grades or above, retired judges of High Court or above.
(ii) Officers retired in Pay Level 12 and 13 (7th CPC) from All India Service / Central Government / State Government or corresponding equivalent grades.
4. To conduct inquiry against: Group B & C
5. Eligibility criteria: Officers retired in Pay Level 10 and 11 (7th CPC) from Central / State Government or corresponding equivalent grades, retired District Judge or equivalent grades
(i) The retired officer should be well versed in conduct of Inquiry Proceedings as per CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965.
(ii) The retired officer willing to serve as the Inquiry Officer should not be more than 65 years of age.
(iii) The retired officer should be in sound health - both physically and mentally.
(iv) The retired officer should not be an accused officer in any pending inquiry and should be of impeccable integrity.
(v) The retired officer should not have been penalized in a disciplinary proceeding case or prosecution in criminal case.
