Qualification Details:

1. Name of the Project/ Scheme: ICMR Research Project “Genomic Based Approaches for Characterization of the Microbial Antibiotic Resistance and Resistome in Dairy production System” under Dr. Rashmi H.M., Scientist & PI, DM Division, ICARNDRI Karna
2. No. & Name of the Position: Senior Research Fellow 01(One)
3. Emoluments:Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA @8%
4. Duration: 24-03-2024
5. Essential Qualification:- Post Graduate degree in any one of the following discipline:- Dairy Microbiology/ Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology/ Industrial Microbiology/ Food Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry with NET (CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR etc.) and GATE with 02 years of research experience in relevant field.
6. Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the area of microbiology, antimicrobial resistance testing and resistome analysis with metagenome data using advanced bioinformatic tools, along with hands on knowledge of routine technique in Microbiology and molecular biology
1. Name of the Project/ Scheme: NASF Project “Production of double mass farm animals using CRISPR” under Dr. Naresh Selokar, Scientist & PI, ABTC ICAR-NDRI Karnal
2. No. & Name of the Position: Senior Research Fellow 01(One)
3. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA @8% for 1st & 2 nd Year, Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA @8% for 3rd year.
4. Duration: Up to December, 2023
5. Essential Qualification:- Master degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Veterinary Sciences with 4 years/5 years of bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in basis science with 03 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master degree in above discipline should have NET qualification and 02 years of research experience in relevant/research filed.
6. Desirable Qualification: the candidate should have research experience in animal cell culture, in vitro embryo production, CRIPSR editing, and somatic cell cloning etc.
1. Name of the Project/ Scheme: DBT Project “Process for the preparation of lactose free milk powder with approaches to minimize maillard reaction” under Dr. Sumit Arora, PS & PI, Dairy Chemistry Division ICARNDRI Karnal

6. Desirable Qualification: Experience in food analytical techniques, nutritional analysis and product development. Proficiency in use of computer application.
1. Name of the Project/ Scheme: NASF Research project entitled " Production of multiple copies of elite buffalo bulls using animal cloning technology” under Dr. M.K. Singh, Scientist & CCPI, ABTC NDRI, Karnal.
2. No. & Name of the Position: Senior Research Fellow 01(One)
3. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA @8% for 1st and 2nd year, Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA @8% for 3 rd year
4. Duration: Upto 31-03- 2022
5. Essential Qualification:- Master degree in Animal Science/Life Science with 4 /5 year Bachelore’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Science with 3 years of Bachelore’s degree and 2 years of Master degree in above discipline should have NET qualified and 02 years of research experience in relevant filed
6. Desirable Qualification: The candidate should have research experience with animals, in vitro embryo production and somatic cell cloning etc.
1. Name of the Project/ Scheme: MoFPI Research Project “Production of dairy powder from by-products (ghee residue and butter milk): Characterization and application in heat desiccated products/convenie nce formulation” under Dr. G.S. Meena, Scientist & PI, DT Division ICAR-NDRI, Karnal
2. No. & Name of the Position: Senior Research Fellow 01(One)
3. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA @8%
4. Duration: Up to 10- 03-2023
5. Essential Qualification: Post graduate degree in Dairy Technology/Dairy Engineering /Dairy Chemistry/Food Technology/Food Engineering/Food Chemistry with NET qualification and 02 years of research experience.
Age:
35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview.
Documents Required:
1) Application form duly completed in all respect strictly in prescribed format.
2) Pass Certificate/Mark Sheet of Matriculation Examination for age verification.
3) Degree Certificate and Marks sheet/Transcript for Graduation.
4) Degree Certificate and Marks sheet/Transcript for Post-Graduation.
5) Degree Certificate and Marks sheet/Transcript for Ph.D if required.
6) Certificate for experience/Training/Associateship and publication if any in relevant filed.
7) Documents related to NET qualified and experience wherever is applicable.
8) SC/ST/OBC/PH certificate as applicable.
9) Copy of No Objection Certificate for the candidates who are already employed somewhere.
10) Those candidates who are already working in any project/scheme/organization Should submit “No Objection Certificate” from his present employer.
11. The interested candidate should upload scanned copy of Original Degree Certificate as required in essential qualification (at least PDC as well as Marks sheet/Transcript for the Essential Qualification) should be uploaded failing Which his/her application will not be considered for online interview
Terms and Conditions:
1) The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement/appointment is co-terminus with the project/scheme.
2) Only Indian citizen will be eligible to submit application for appearing the online interview.
3) The selected candidate must follow the COVID-19 guidelines released issued by MHA and local authorities from time to time at the time of his/her joining at ICAR-NDRI, Karnal.
4 The applications received through online upto deadline only will be shortlisted/examined by a Competent Committee on the basis of documents submitted with each applications considering relevant criteria as per the requirement of each position. The online applications received without required documents will not be considered for online interview and such type of incomplete applications will be rejected straightway
5 After screening of the applications in accordance with qualification criteria, a list of the shortlisted/eligible candidates alongwith the suitable date & time of online interview of each position will be displayed/uploaded on the NDRI website. The candidates who submitted their applications are advised to keep a check on NDRI website for updates. It is assumed that online interviews will be arranged/held within the month of June-July of 2021.
6 Only shortlisted/eligible candidates will be considered for online interview as per preference of the candidate.
7 In order to conduct the online interview, link will be sent to the e-mail ID of the shortlisted/eligible candidates as reflected in their application format.
8 The shortlisted/eligible candidates for each position must keep themselves ready at least 30 minutes before start of online interview on scheduled date and time.
9 It will be expected that the candidate has access to stable internet connection and the hardware (video & audio) for appearing in the virtual mode interview.
10 ICAR-NDRI will have no liability for poor internet at the candidate end that hinders the interview process.
11 The selected candidate (s) will have no right to claim employment or engagement in ICAR-NDRI at the end of the contract period as the positions are purely temporary on contractual basis which are Coterminus with the project/ scheme.
12 The selected candidates will be given provisional selection offer letter. The selected candidates will be required to produce original documents as submitted alongwith their online application for verification at the time of their joining. In case any false claim in the documents is noticed during verification, their provisional offer of selection will stand cancelled.
13 Concealing of facts/canvassing shall lead to disqualification of the candidature.
14 In case any disputes, it will be resolved within the jurisdiction of Karnal Court only.
15 The decision of the Director, ICAR-NDRI Karnal will be final and binding in all aspects.
