Decommissioning of Nuclear Reactors in India under one roof, invites applications in the prescribed format for engagement of Trade Apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961 and The Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 in the Narora Atomic Power Station Plant Site, Narora, Dist.-Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh), as per following details:-

Age:
Minimum 14 years and maximum 24 years as on 07/07/2021 for Gen/EWS candidates. Relaxation upto 5 years for SC candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non creamy layer) candidates and relaxation of 10 years for PWBD category as per Govt. of India Orders.
Documents Required:
Candidates should enclose self-attested photo copy of the following certificates:
1. Date of Birth certificate (Matriculation/10th marksheet)
2. Educational Qualification (10th / 12th marksheets)
3. ITI certificate and Mark sheets of all semesters/ years.
4. Other qualification/ experience certificates, if any
5. Caste Certificates of those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)
6. Certificate of EWS issued by competent authority
7. Physical Disability certificate in case of PwBD candidates
8. Police verification certificate issued by concerned Police Authority
9. Character/ Conduct Certificate from the concerned Institution
10. Aadhar Card (Compulsory)
11. Recent pass port size 4 photographs
12. Residential Proof if living within 16 kms. radius of NAPS, Plant Site
13. The candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates/testimonials etc. At any stage if it is found that the candidate has furnished false or incorrect information, then the candidature of the candidate is liable to be cancelled.
General Conditions:
1. Candidates should submit duly filled application in the prescribed format only
2. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act 1961 in any Government or PSU or Private Industrial Organisation are not eligible to apply.
3. Any person engaged to undergo apprentice training in a designated trade shall enter in to contract of apprenticeship with NPCIL as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. The contract of apprenticeship shall terminate on the expiry of the period of apprenticeship training. Any premature termination or extension of contract of apprentice shall be dealt as per the provisions of Act, 1961 read with Apprentices Rules, 1992 and amendments from time to time.
4. Those who absent themselves are liable to refund whole cost of their training as well as the amount received as stipend as determined by Central Apprenticeship Advisor.
5. The engagement and training are strictly in compliance with the provision of the Apprentices Act 1961, and there is no obligation for employment of the Apprentices on Completion of their training.
6. The apprentice after completion of the training shall have no right to claim any employment in NPCIL.
7. Police verification certificate: NPCIL, NAPS being highly protected area, apprentices will be engaged only after submission of Police Verification issued by District Police Authorities. In addition, the apprentice needs to submit Character/ Conduct Certificate from the concerned institution
8. The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all the matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or objection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Filling up of the seats is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidate and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of these seats are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
9. No hostel/ transport facility shall be provided to the selected candidates for apprenticeship
10. Obligation for employment: The engagement of apprentice is as per the provisions of Apprentices Act and therefore it shall not be obligatory on the part of NPCIL to offer any employment to any apprentice who has completed the period of his apprenticeship training nor shall it be obligatory on the part of apprentices to accept an employment under NPCIL
11. Management reserves the right to alter the no. of seats of particular trade or even the entire process of engagement of apprentice without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
12. The cut-off date for reckoning age limit, qualification etc. would be closing date prescribed for submitting online application i.e 07/07/2021.

Selection Procedure :
1. Preference will be given to the eligible local candidates living within 16 km radius of Narora Atomic Power Station, Narora, Dist. Bulandshahr, UP.
2. Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage obtained by the candidate in respective ITI trade .
3. In case of tie in the percentage of ITI marks, the candidate born earlier shall be considered
How to Apply :

3. First, the candidate has to register himself/herself at the web portal of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship https://www.apprenticeship.gov.in
4. Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria for a post may submit the application form available at the NPCIL website www.npcilcareers.co.in
5. Before applying, the candidate shall ensure his/her eligibility for apprentice training. The online application form will be available on the website from 16/06/2021 at 10:00 hrs and the online submission of application will be open until 07/07/2021 (16:00 Hrs.).
6. Those who have enrolled for apprenticeship in the web portal https://www.apprenticeship.gov.in, have to apply for the respective trade through the Establishment Registration No. E07170900865, the establishment Id for Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd, Narora Atomic Power Station. The applications will not be accepted, if not applied in the Establishment ID.
