Applications are invited from prospective candidates under the following categories for filling up 109 (One Hundred Nine) posts of Accountant under the Common Accounts Cadre of the Directorate of Accounts through Direct Recruitment in the Level - 6 of Pay Matrix (i.e. Pay Scale of PB -2 — 9300 — 34800 + 4200/- (pre-revised).

3. The educational and other qualifications required for the post of Accountant as per the Recruitment Rules notified are as follows:
4. Essential:
(i) Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts with Economics, from a recognized University / Institution.
(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
5. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age:
Not exceeding 45 years as on the date of filling of Application Form (relaxable for Government Servants by 05 years and those in Reserved Category as per guidelines prescribed by the Government from time to time).

( In case required number of candidates are not found eligible in the categories of Persons with Disability, CFF, Ex-Servicemen or Sportsperson, then the said vacancies will he filled LIP from candidates heloneing to Unreserved Category). *includes backlog vacancies.

2. Only the eligible candidates fulfilling the criteria as per Recruitment Rules/advertisement shall apply and the candidates need not furnish any documents at the time of applying for the post. However, the candidature of the shortlisted candidate shall not be considered, if he/she is found ineligible at the time of verification of the essential documents, even though has passed the examination.
