Applications are invited from the eligible female candidates of Indian citizens who are Natives /Residents of the IJnion Territory of Puducherry for engagement to the post of Anganwadi Worker (AWW) and Anganwadi Helper (AWH) on urgent basis for a short duration of three months only on Honorarium basis in the Anganwadi Centres functioning in all regions of UT of Puducherry under the control of Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry as detailed below :-

Age:
18 to 35 years. Should have completed 18 years on or before 31.03.2021 and should not have crossed 35 years as on 31.03.2021.
Note
1. Candidates who have already submitted applications to this department are requested to resubmit their application afresh.
2. Candidates applying for both Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper and more than one Anganwadi Centre shall submit application separately.
3. Certificate verification will be made after the selection process is completed. If any candidate selected for engagement fails to produce original certificates in support of educational qualification / residence or if it is found that the candidate has furnished false information her selection will be categorically rejected.
4. No TA I DA will be paid to the selected candidates who are called for certificate verification.
5. The Department is not responsible for the belated receipt of applications due to postal delay.
Selection Procedure :
1. Application proforma may be downloaded from the Puducherry Government official website https://py.gov.in (or) Collected from the concerned ICDS Project Office as detailed in para V.
2. List of Project wise / Region Wise Anganwadi Centres where the post of Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper is lying vacant is detailed.
3. Candidates residing within 3 Km surrounding the Anganwadi Centre where the post of Anganwadi Worker (or) Anganwadi Helper lying vacant shall only apply.
4. Selection will be based on X marks i.e. applicants who have applied for a particular Anganwadi Centre and have scored highest marks in X Std. will be engaged as Anganwadi Worker / Anganwadi Helper in the Anganwadi Centre for which the candidate have applied.
How to Apply :
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as mentioned above shall submit their duly filled in application to the CDPO's of the respective projects directly on or before 05:45 P.M on 04.06.2021 superscribing on the cover as "Application For Engagement To The Post Of Anganwadi Worker / Anganwadi Helper On Honorarium Basis "
