Engagement Of Contract Medical Practitioners( Specialist/gdmo ) On Full Time Contract Basis On Alipurduar Division , Northest Frontier Railway.
1. In view of the existing workload and the exigencies related with the COVID-19 Global pandemic and in view of adequate preparedness, it has been decided to engage 'Contract Medical Practitioners(Specialist/GDMO) from open market on following terms and conditions .
2. Engagement of Specialist Doctor on contract against existing regular Ol(one)post(lRHS) for a period of I(one) year from the date of engagement which can be extended purely on Administrative requirement and willingness of Contract Doctor, or till the scheme is available, whichever is earlier.
3. No. Of Vacancies (1+10)=11 OI(UR)( Regular post )- For Ophthalmologist against existing vacancy. 10(Ten) Temporary posts- For General Duty Medical Officers(GDMO) for Covid Quarantine facilities & Isolation Wards set up in APDJ Division . Since the posts are over & above sanctioned posts due to the exigencies on temporary measure, no prescribed category distribution (SC/ST/OBC) is applicable.
4. Educational Qualification/Eligibility:
a. For Specialist The candidate should be a minimum MBBS with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in respective subject/field as a Specialist and should be recognized by the Indian Medical Council .
b. For GDMO—The candidate should be a minimum MBBS pass Degree from an Institute recognized by the Indian Medical Council, or with a valid registration certificate of any of the State Medical Councils of India after completion of one year compulsory intership.
5. Remuneration :
a. For Specialist (Full time): Rs.95,000/-P.M.
b. For General Duty Medical Officer: 75000/-PM
Age:
Candidate should not exceed 53 years of age as on 01.05.2021. However, age relaxation is admissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories as per extant rules.
Other Terms and conditions
1. Selected candidates will subjected to medical examination and only medically fit candidates will be engaged as GDMO. The contract medical practitioner who enters contract with Railways will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity or automatic extension of the term of contact
2. The contract shall liable to be terminated by giving 07 days notice by either side,without assigning any reasons, or if the Contract Medical Practitioner is mentally/physically incapacitated.
3. Engagement as CMP(GDMO) will not confer any right for automatic regularization or absorption in Railways. 5
4. The detailed instructions with regard to the duties while in contract in Railways shall given to CMP concemed in the event of selection along with the offer of engagement.
5. Appearance in the interview will not vest any right upon the candidate to be engaged as CMP & no reasons will be cited or communication shall be made with the candidate in the event of candidate not getting selected. The Railway Administration of the APDJ division, N.F.RaiIway reserves absolute right to cancel the notification without assigning any reason(s).
6. No Railway Privilege passes/PTOs shall be admissible to Retired Railway Doctors engaged as GDMO in his/her capacity of CMP.
7. However, Duty passes as per eligibility would be provided for out station duties to the CMPs.
