Qualification Details:
Applications are invited for a purely temporary assignment of Junior Research Fellow as per details given below:
1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

3. Essential Qualifications: M.Tech. in Atmospheric Science with minimum 55% marks or 3.5 GPA on 6 point grade or 5.5 GPA on a 10 point grade system with NET (JRF or LS) IGATE OR those with M.Sc.
in Atmospheric Science with minimum 55% marks or 3.5 GPA on 6 point grade or 5.5 GPA on a 10 point grade system with NET (JRF or LS) IGATE.
4. Desirable: Experience with python programming. Installation and running of numerical ocean model. Experience with plotting softwares such as Ferret, Grads and handling of large datasets.
5. Relaxation: For Reserved Category students who are domiciles of Maharashtra, the qualifying marks will be relaxed by 5% or 0.5 GPA.
6. Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- p.m. (As per DST-SERB norms) + HRA (as per norms) (For first two years); Rs. 35000/- p.m. (As per DST-SERB norms) + HRA (as per norms) (In the third year) If suitable qualified personnel are not found, the candidate may be considered as Project Associate — I as per DST-SERB norms.
Selection Process :
