6. Period of deputation: Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organization or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed five years.
7. Eligibility Deputation including Short-term contract
(A) Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous bodies:
a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis; or
(ii) with three years regular service in Level 14 of the pay Matrix (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/-)and
b) Possessing the qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits.
(B) All India Service Officers with three years regular service in Level 14 of the pay Matrix (Rs.1,44,200-2,18,200/-) after empanelment of their Batch at the centre and with five years experience in the area of e-Governance. The National Informatics Centre Scientist 'G' in Level 14 of the pay Matrix (Rs. with three years regular service in the grade shall be considered along with outsiders and in case he is selected for appointment, the post shall be deemed to have filled by promotion.
8. Educational qualifications (Essential): Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or Institute or M.Sc.(Electronics) or M.Sc.(Applied Electronics) or Masters' Degree in Computer Applications or M.Sc.(Computer Science/lnformation Technology).
9. Educational qualifications (Desirable): Masters' Degree in Engineering or Technology or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics.
10. Experience :
(i) Twenty-five years experience in the area of Information Technology or System Implementation or e-Governance, in the case of Government servants.
(ii) Twenty-five years of experience (in case of non- Government servants) in the area of Information Technology or System Implementation or e•Governance, of which at least five years as:
Selection Process :
1. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interaction (if any). Mere fulfilling of minimum requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate to be called for personal interaction. Short listing of the candidates will be done based on educational qualification, essential post qualificatlon experience, experience in senior management capacity, heading any organisation, knowledge of Gol policies & Corporate Management, Scientlfic Papers published, Awards & Recognition, Patents/Copyrights/Trademarks etc and Vision Statement.
