CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur invites applications from the eligible and interested candidates for the following positions on purely temporary basis and co-terminus with the duration of the project as detailed below:
a. Post Name: Project Associate I
b. No of Post: 3
c. Education: Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Botany/ Plant Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics from recognized university.
d. Desirable Qualification: Work experience in NGS/ genome wide molecular markers/ High throughput Genotyping/ Molecular mapping
e. Tenure of the Project: 31/03/2021
f. Stipend: (i) Rs. 31,000/-p.m. + HRA to those who are selected through a) National Eligibility tests CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or
b) A selection process through National Level examinations conducted by central govemment and their agencies and institutions.

General Instructions:

Selection Process :
