FACULTY OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY

2. Basic Sciences & Humanities:
A) Mathematics:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics.
ii) A Master’s Degree in Mathematics with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) 

3. Farm Machinery and Power Engineering:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering/ Farm Machinery and Power or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

4. Food Business Management:

5. Food Process Engineering:

ii) A Master’s Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science & Technology/ Food Processing Technology/ Food Technology and Management/ Dairy Technology with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

7. Food Safety & Quality Assurance:
A) Food Chemistry:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/ Food Science and Technology/ Food Technology of 4 years duration (Preferred) or A Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (as major)/ Biotechnology/ Chemistry (as major) (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Food Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
8. Processing and Food Engineering:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering (Preferred) or A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science & Technology/ Food Science/ Food Technology of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Agricultural Process and Food Engineering/ Processing and Food Engineering/ Agricultural Process Engineering/ Post Harvest Engineering/ Dairy and Food Engineering/ Food Process Engineering or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

9. Renewable Energy Engineering:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering/ Agro-Energy Engineering/ Bio-Energy Engineering or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

Soil and Water conservation Engineering:
i) A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering of 4 years duration (State Agricultural Universities / ICAR accredited institutes / Central Agricultural Universities & other Govt. Institutions).
ii) A Master’s Degree in Irrigation and Drainage Engineering/ Soil and Water Conservation Engineering/ Soil and water Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering/ Watershed Management Engineering/ Land and Water Resources Engineering or related discipline with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

Age:
Upper age limit is 42 years as on the date of notification. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST, BC and for Person With Disability for 10 years is admissible to the various categories

Application Fee:
The applicants shall pay the Registration fee of Rs. 1500/- (in case of SC/ST candidates the fees is Rs.750/-)

General Information:
1. The University reserves the right not to fill up all or any of the posts advertised.

2. The discipline to which the Ph.D. degree belongs to shall be decided based on the research work carried out by the candidate for his/her degree.

3. For reckoning the required experience for the post, the experience in the subject or discipline concerned in teaching or extension or research shall only be considered as relevant experience.

4. The applicants should mention service particulars if they were promoted under Career Advancement Scheme in Employment Record. 

5. Certified copies of 5 sets of degree or provisional certificates and marks Sheet/Transcripts should be enclosed to the application. The originals should be brought at the time of interview.

6. While filling up of the application form part `B'.
i) Under item No.2 (meant for details of qualifications) the period of studies should be indicated clearly with date, month and year of joining and leaving studies. If any of the applicants did their M.Sc. or Ph.D by research work only without any course work, it should be clearly indicated.
ii) Service rendered outside ANGRAU if any should be clearly indicated. 
iii) Under item No.3 (meant for employment record) the details of service rendered by the applicant in different cadres should be clearly mentioned (i.e.) date, month and year of appointment and scale of pay and pay drawn. The period of study during the service should be indicated clearly without fail.
iv) A certificate showing proof of service / experience outside ANGRAU should be enclosed.
v) Should enclose 5 sets of Research, Publication papers and other educational certificates along with Part-B application

7. The in-service candidates should send their applications through proper channel so as to reach the University within the prescribed date.

8. For Associate Professor Posts, the merit list will be prepared considering the Academic credentials (Including period of Service) and interview in the ratio of 80:20, respectively

Ranga Agricultural University, Administrative Office. Lam, Guntur-522 034 on or before 23.05.2021 by 4:00 P.M.
