Qualification Details:
The Institute of Forest Genetics & Tree Breeding (IFGTB), Coimbatore (T.N) invites applications from the eligible officials under Central/State/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous
Bodies/Statutory Bodies for filling up of one post of Forester in the Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix plus usual allowances admissible under rules in Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE), Dehradun.
Eligibility:
l) Forester: Analogous Post (OR): Forest Guard in the Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with 08 years of service in the grade and having successfully completed Forestry training course from a recognized Institution.

The upper age limit to apply for the above posts is 50 only as on closing date.
General Instructions :
a. Applications with complete bio-data together with a fee of Rs.500/- ( Rs. Five Hundred Only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Director, IFGTB payable at Coimbatore should reach the office of the Director, IFGTB, Forest Campus, R.S.Puram, Coimbatore(TN), PIN: 641002 On or before 31/03/2021.
b. Separate applications should be submitted along with Demand Draft of Rs.500/- for each post if a candidate wishes to apply more than one post.
c. Application and the envelope should be superscribed as 'Application for the post of Forester/Dy.Ranger (whichever is applicable) against the advertisement No.01/2020. Applications incomplete in any respect shall summarily rejected.
d. In no case the Institute will be respansible for non-receipt of applications or any delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever. No application received after the stipulated last date will be entertained under any circumstances and all the application will be summarily rejected.
e. The candidate must submit their application through proper channel. The concerned department/organization should enclose vigilance clearance report and Annual Confidential Reports of the official for the last five years (2015-2020) while forwarding the application of the candidate. However, an advance copy can be submitted along with prescribed fee. The Institute reserves the right to relax, the qualifications/experience in case of exceptionally qualified and meritorious candidates.
f. The institute reserves the right not to fill up the vacancy advertised if the circumstances so warrant in the interest of Institute. The candidature of retired Forest Guard/Forester will not be considered.
