Qualification Details:
South Eastern Coalfields Limited (Subsidiary of Coal India Limited) invites application for engagement of 10 (Ten) Medicai Specialist Consultants in different Areas of SECL, from retired executives of Medical Discipline of E-5 & above grade in CIL/SECL/Other subsidiaries of CIL on contractual basis for a period of one year.

1. Name of the Post: Medicai Specialist Consultants
2. No of Post: 10
3. Work description: On Full Time basis as Medical Specialist Consultant. Services will be utilized for work of Medical Department, SECL as per requirement on day to day basis in Company's Hospital/Dispensaries/other places etc.
4. Consolidated Honararium and other benefit:
a) Consolidated honorarium and other benefits shall be payable as under for rendering service for fuli time basis on monthiy basis:
(i)For retired Medical Specialists of CIL/Subsidiaries
(ii) Grade of Retd , Executive and Compensation/ Honorarium:
E8: Rs.1,50 000/-PM
E7: Rs.1,30 000/-PM
E6: Rs.1,15 000/-PM
E5: Rs.1,00 000/-PM
b) Accommodation facility On availability, suitable Company's accommodation will be provided as applicable to on-roll Executives against the standard rent fixed by the Company,
c) Medical All retired Executives of CIL/Subsidiaries covered under the Contributory Post Retirement Medicare Scheme (CPRMSE) will continue to be governed by the said scheme during their period of engagement as Consultants.
d) Leave Consultants shall be entitled for paid leave of 15 days in every six months in addition to the paid holidays in the establishment The paid leave shall be regulated as per the provisions of EL (Earned leave) applicable to Executive cadre employees under the CIL Executive Leave Rules, However, the paid leave admissible as above is not encashable, The accumulated leave shall stand lapsed on expiry of period of engagement.
e) TA/DA Whenever tours are undertaken by the retired Medical Specialists of CIL/Subsidiary Companies engaged as Consultants, TA/DA and other boarding/lodging charges shall be payable at par with the grade in which they have retired with minimum Basic Pav of that grade.
5. Educational Qualification:
a) For ENT: MS(ENT), DLO DNB
b) For Ophthalmology: MS(Eye), DO, DNB
c) For Pediatrics: MD(Paed), DCH, DNB
d) For Physician: MD(Medicine), DNB
e) For Surgeon: MS(Gen,Surgery), DNB
f) For Radiologist: MD(Radio), DMRD, DNBF
g) For Obs. & Gynaecologist: MD/MS(Gynae), DGO, DNB
6. Experience & eligibility criteria:
(i) For consideration of retired GDMOs (with Specialization Qualification) the should have workedin the relevant specialty for at least 5 years during their last service period in CIL/Subsidiaries.
(ii) Should have scored minimum 'Good' ratings in the last 5 years of service.
(iii)Should not have been awarded with any punishment under CDA Rules of the Company in the last 5 years of service.
(iv)Should not have been involved with any corruption or illegal gratification or in any criminal case during the entire service eriod and ost retirement.
Age:
Applicants should be more than 60 years but not more than 65 years during the contract period. Engagement will not be beyond his/her attaining the age of 65 years. Cut off date for the eligibility will be the date of Notification,
Terms and Conditions:
(l) The selected Medical Specialist Consultants would be stationed at any Coalfield Area of SECL as per requirement of the Company
(ii) The engagement of Medical Specialist Consultants shall be subject to Medical fitness to be certlfied by Company Medical Officer
(iii) Seiection of the Medical Specialist Consultants is subject to Character and Antecedent verification of the candidates, which would be done post appointment. In case, any discrepancy or concealment of information is found, the contract period of such Medical Consultant will be terminated with imrnediate effect without any notice period
(lv) Based on the requirennent of the Connpany concerned, Management will be within its rights to extend the services of Consultant, anytime, to any Establishments of the Cornpany/Strategic locations
(v) No TA/DA will be admissible for attendinE interview" However, the Consultants would be eligible for reimbursement of cost of fare incurred at the time of joinlng equivalent to AC 3, Tier (3'd AC) by the shortest route for self
(vi) Consultants shall not engage in private practice during thelr period of engagement in SEeL and strall be available at any time for ennengencies
(vii)He/she has to maintain the lntegrlty and secreey of the Cornpanies business and shall not engage himselflherself with any other business during his/hen tenure as Medical eonsultant
(viii) He/she shall perform the duties of the MedicaI eonsultants efficiently, diligently and shall devote their whoie tinne to the cornpany he/she shall lronestly and falthfully serve the eonnpany during the perlod of engagernent
(ix) The period of engagement is liable to he termlnated at any tirne without asslgning any reason thereof after Elving one rnonth's notlce on either side or on payment of one month's consolidated hononarium in lieu thereof
(x) Other terms & eondltions as per CIL's Folicy in policy
Note
