Qualification Details:
Applications in prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for appointment as Ad-hoc Additional District Judges in the Cadre of District Judge purely on temporary (contractual) basis under "The Odisha Fast Track Special Courts (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of services of retired Judicial Officers of the Cadre of District Judges and Staff including in-service Judicial Officers in the regular Cadre of District Judge, ministerial staff and Group-D employees) Scheme-2020".

1.Name of the Post: Ad-hoc Additional District Judges
2.Number of Post:21 (Twenty One)
3.Eligibility Conditions: (a) Officers, in the cadre of District Judge, who have retired on attaining the age of superannuation or on voluntary retirement, subject to fitness and suitability.
(b) Officers retired in the Cadre of District Judge must not be above the age of 70 years as on the date of advertisement.
(c) Officers, who have been dismissed, removed, compulsorily retired from service or had sought voluntary retirement after initiation of departmental enquiry against them shall not be eligible to be considered for such appointment.
4.Pay and allowances: On appointment under the Scheme as Ad-hoc Additional District Judge, the retired Judicial Officers shall be entitled to receive pay and allowances at the rate he/ she was drawing at the time of retirement minus total amount of pension being received by him/ her before commutation under the Pension Rules applicable to him/ her. He/ She shall also be entitled to all other regular allowances admissible to in-service officer of the Cadre of District Judge except robe allowance, surrender of earned leave, LTC.

Officers retired in the Cadre of District Judge must not be above the age of 70 years as on the date of advertisement.
General:
(1) Applications, complete in all respects, must be addressed to the Registrar (Administration), High Court of Orissa, Cuttack, 753002 only by Registered post or Speed post so as to reach this office on or before 22.02.2021.
(2) Incomplete and/or defective applications and applications received after due date shall be summarily rejected. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. (
3) Envelope containing application must be inscribed "Appointment of Ad-hoc Additional District Judges".
(4) The selected candidates must be physically fit and shall be required to produce fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
(5) List of eligible applicants shall be published in the Court's Website (www.orissahighcourt.nic.in)/Notice Board. (6) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
