Applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens to fill up the vacancies for the posts of Assistant Section Officer (Group B Non-Gazetted) , Junior Translation Officerin Press Council of India whose details are as under:-

General Instruction to Candidates
1. Candidates should possess the prescribed educational qualification as on the closing date of application.
2. Candidates serving Government/Public Sector Undertaking are required to send their applications through proper channel.
3. Applications which do not meet the criteria given in the advertisement and/or incomplete applications are liable to summarily rejected.
4. Candidates furnishing any particulars that are found to be false, tampered, fabricated or suppress any material/information while submitting the application and self-certified copies/testimonial, will stand disqualified.
5. The number of posts advertised may vary, and the Secretariat of the Council reserves the right not to fill up some or all the posts advertised, if the circumstances so warrant.
6. All candidates should have fulfilled the minimum eligibility on the closing date of submission of application.
7. Candidates called for written test shall do so at their own expenses. No TA/DA shall be paid.
8. Candidates are required to fill the columns of Admit Card enclosed in their own handwriting and forward it alongwith the application form.
9. Along with application, candidates shall send an envelope containing their address upon it on which the admit card should be sent with the application form.

Selection Procedure :
Candidates are required to appear in written test (Objective as well as Descriptive) to adjudge the basic knowledge as per the requirement of the post. The selection shall be based on the performance of the candidates in the written test on merit basis.
How to Apply :
The eligible and interested persons are required to submit their application in the attached proforma alongwith self-attested copies of the certificates, date of birth, experience, caste etc. to The Secretary, Press Council of India, Soochna Bhawan, 8 CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 latest by 1st February, 2021. Only such applications as are accompanied by the requisite proforma and envelope will be considered.
