School Management Committee (SMC) invites applications for following mentioned positions at No.1 Air Force School, Gwalior
Age: Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled. Specific age required is mentioned against the post in above chart
Other requirements applicable to All the above post:
(i) Should be in the age group of 21 to 50 years as on 01 July of the academic year in which the post is being filled. Specific age required is mentioned against the post in above chart.
(ii) Women candidates and physically challenged candidates will be given age relaxation upto a maximum of five years.
(iii) Ex-servicemen candidates who have put in not less than six months of continuous service in the Army, Navy or the Air Force shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for the post by more than three years, they shall be deemed to have satisfied the condition regarding age limit. Such ex-servicemen candidates, if selected for the post, will also retire from the School as per rules of the Society.
(iv) Candidates with at least two years continuous service as a PGT/TGT or three years as a PRT/NTT in any Air Force School but presently not working in an Air Force School, will be given age relaxation upto the extent of such service rendered in Air Force School.
(v) Should be able to read, write and communicate fluently in English.

Selection Procedure :
1. Date of written test/ interview/ demonstration/ skill test will be separately intimated to the shortlisted candidates only. Candidates applying for any post/s, have to come for written test/ aptitude test/ interview on their own. No TA/DA whatsoever will be paid for attending the written test/ aptitude test/ interview
2. Mere fulfilling of the minimum qualification/s and experience will not confer any right to the candidates for being called to written test/ interview or/and for his/her selection. The SMC (School Management Committee) reserves all the right for selecting/ not selecting any candidate, increasing/decreasing number of vacancies without assigning any reason thereof.
3. The school shall not be held responsible for any postal/ other delay. Incomplete/ vague applications will be summarily rejected.
(a). There will be a Written test and/or Aptitude Test for the posts mentioned except Science Lab Attendant, Karate Instructor, Dance Teacher. Date of written test is 30 Jan 2021. Medium of instruction is English. For rest of the post/s Skill test/ demonstration will be conducted separately. Candidates for Written test/ Aptitude test will be shortlisted after scrutinizing their application (based on the eligibility criteria of each post separately as given in the Education Code-2020). Only shortlisted candidates will be called/ contacted for written test.
(b) Only candidates who qualifies written test, will be intimated/ called for appearing in teaching aptitude test and only candidates passing teaching aptitude test will be called for interview. The school will communicate only with short-listed candidates in each case
