Sub: Engagement Of Engineering Graduates And Technician (Diploma) Holders For One Year Apprenticeship Training At High Explosives Factory For The Year 2021-22 Under The Apprentices (Amendment) Act-1973
Under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, High Explosives Factory, Khadki, Pune proposes to provide practical training facilities for a period of one year to fresh Graduate Engineers and Technical Diploma Holders who have passed after April-2019 in the branch of Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The details of vacancies are as follows:-
1. Post Name: Apprenticeship Training

3. Apprentice:
i. Engineering Graduate: Chemical, Electrical & Mechanical
ii. Technician (Diploma): Chemical, Electrical & Mechanical
4. Duration of training: 01 year
5. Stipend:
i. The Engg. Graduate Apprentices will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 9000/- p.m. and
ii. Technician (Diploma) Apprentices will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 8000/- p.m.
6. Qualification:
i. Any Indian citizen passed out Degree in Engineering Chemical/ElectricaI/MechanicaI branch from an institute recognized by AICTE, Govt. of India can apply for Engineering Graduate Apprentice and any Indian citizen passed out Diploma in Engineering in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical from an institute recognized by AICTE, Govt. of India can apply for Technician (Diploma) Apprentice.
ii. Candidates who have already registered/undergone/undergoing apprenticeship training under Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible to apply.

Age:
The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years as on the day of application. A relaxation in upper age is admissible as per the Govt. of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC
General Instructions:
1. For each selected candidate, Registration of contract of Apprenticeship with Regional Apprenticeship Adviser, Board of Apprenticeship Training (WR), Mumbai will be made by the Apprentice and the Establishment as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
2. During the training, you are entitled for free Medical treatment from Ordnance Factory Hospital only.
3. The candidate will not be provided with any quarters/hostel accommodation by this factory for stay at Pune during entire period of training.
4. The provisions of employer's liability for compensation for injury, health, safety and welfare of apprentices as per The Apprentices Act, 1961 are applicable.
5. It is to be noted that no request for appointment in any post in this factory will be entertained on completion of subject one year Apprenticeship training.
6. The Candidate who had training at any establishment or job experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of his/her qualifications shall not be eligible as per Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
7. The candidature of applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates and testimonials.
8. In case, it is detected at any stage of engagement or thereafter, that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and or/that he has furnished any incorrect/false information/candidature will stand cancelled.

Selection Procedure :
The applied & eligible candidates will be called for interview and they will be shortlisted on the basis of merit in the interview. Police Verification of the shortlisted candidates will be carried out. The candidates successfully clearing the Police Verification will be called for Medical Examination. Medically fit candidates • will be issued engagement letter for commencement of training.

1. The notification will be published on NATS web portal and Mahaswayam web portal and the candidates are advised to apply on any one portal. The opening date of application is 15/01/2021 and closing date is 15/02/2021. The steps to apply are as follows:-
