Qualification Details:
TNPL, a well known Paper and Board Manufacturing Company with a turnover of over 3437 Crores requires the following personnel for its Multilayer Double Coated Board Plant (TNPL Unit-II) at Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District, Tamilnadu:-
1. Name of the posts: Plant Engineer (Mechanical) / Assistant Manager (Mechanical)
2. No. of posts: 10
3. Reservation: General Turn-1; BC(other than BC Muslims)-3; BC Muslim-1; MBC/DNC-2; SC-2; SCA-1
4. Scale of Pay / Monthly CTC:
i. For Shift Engineer / Plant Engineer:- Scale of Pay Rs.19200-480-24000. Monthly CTC Rs.85,132/- for the month of November, 2020.
ii. For Assistant Manager:- Scale of Pay Rs. 23400-590-29300. Monthly CTC Rs.1,02,700/- for the month of November, 2020.
5. Qualification: First Class full time B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering
6. Experience:
i. For Plant Engineer:- Should have minimum 8 years of post qualification experience as on 01/12/2020.
ii. For Assistant Manager:- Should have minimum 10 years of post qualification experience as on 01/12/2020.
iii. Experience requires in erection / commissioning / maintenance of various mechanical and rotating equipments in a large size process industry like Pulp & Paper industry, Refinery, Fertilizer, Petro-Chemical, Chemical industries or in a project and Consultancy/Tender specification for procurement, Piping and Instrumentation drawing etc for large size projects for continuous process industries or Thermal Power Plants
iv. Experience in erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance in Hardwood Pulp Mill and Recovery Plants are preferable. Knowledge on 7QC Tools, Safety, 5s Tools, TPM, Kaizen system, industrial engineering and lean manufacturing are preferred.

Experience requires in installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of LT / HT electrical equipments, switchgears, PLCs, AC/DC drives, Variable Frequency Drives etc., in a large size Pulp & Paper / Paper Board industry, Refineries, Fertilizer, Power Plant, Petro-Chemical, Metal Processing/ Chemical industries
iv. Possessing of Supervisory Competency Certificate (C’ License) is preferable. Experience in erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance in Hardwood Pulp Mill and Recovery Plants are preferable. Knowledge on 7QC Tools, Safety, 5s Tools, TPM, Kaizen system, industrial engineering and lean manufacturing are preferred.

4. Scale of Pay / Monthly CTC:

5. Qualification: First Class full time B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation Technology / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. (or) First Class full time Arts / Science Degree with First Class PG Diploma in Process Instrumentation.
6. Experience:
i. For Plant Engineer:- Should have minimum 8 years of post qualification experience as on 01/12/2020.
ii. For Assistant Manager:- Should have minimum 10 years of post qualification experience as on 01/12/2020.
iii. Experience requires in erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance of all types of measuring instruments / transmitters, Servo valves / proportional valves of hydraulic system, control / on-off valves, pneumatic / hydraulic actuators, controls and automation systems, DCS with profibus, PLCs etc., in large size continuous process industries like Pulp & Paper, Paper Board, Refinery, Fertilizer, Petro-Chemical, Metals processing, Chemical etc. or Thermal Power Plants. Hands on experience on HMI / SCADA programming shall be an added advantage.
iv. Experience in erection, commissioning, operation and maintenance in Hardwood Pulp Mill and Recovery Plants are preferable. Knowledge on 7QC Tools, Safety, 5s Tools, TPM, Kaizen system, industrial engineering and lean manufacturing are preferred.
Age: For Plant Engineer:- Minimum 28 years as on 01/12/2020 Maximum as on 01/12/2020 General Turn-40 years; BC/BCM/MBC/DNC-43 years; SC/SCA/ST-45 years For Assistant Manager:- Minimum 29 years as on 01/12/2020 Maximum as on 01/12/2020 General Turn-40 years; BC/BCM/MBC/DNC-43 years; SC/SCA/ST-45 years
