Qualification Details:
1. Post Name: Assistant Superintendent/ Welfare Officer/ Probation Officer (Male and Female)

3. Qualification:
i. A degree in Arts, Science, Agriculture and Commerce from a recognized University
ii. NO person Shall be appointed to any post in any service by direct appointment unless he has passed Matriculation Examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory Or elective subject or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi Language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time (As per Punjab Civil Services General and Common Condition Rules, 1994).
4. Eligibility:- A Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Of for Male Candidates is as follows:- Height- 5 Feet 7 Inches (5 Feet 5 Inches in case of Dogras and Gurkhas) Chest- 33 Inches - Unexpanded 34.5 Inches - Expanded A Physical Measurement Test (PMT) of for female candidates is as follows:- Height-5 Feet 3 Inches
5. Physical Efficiency Test is to be taken for the bench marks of minimum standards.
6. Minimum Pay Admissible: 35400/- (As per Govt. of Punjab, Finance Department (F.P.I Branch) I.D. 7/94/2020- No. 2F.P.1/1167 dated 04.11.2020.

Selection Procedure :
1. All the aspirants are informed as under with respect to the written test to be conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Superintendent/Welfare Officer/probation Officer of Prisons:
a. Exam will be bi-lingual (English & Punjabi).
b. The Exam will be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) format.
c. OMR sheets will be used for answering the questions.
