Qualification Details:
Bharat Electronics Ltd, Ghaziabad, a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking and India’s Premier Professional Electronics Company requires ‘SENIOR ASSISTANT ENGINEER’on Fixed Term basis for the period as indicated below, for its ANTENNA, SCCS& RADAR SBU/BEL-Ghaziabad in E-1 Grade in the scale of Rs. 30000-3%-120000 + other admissible allowances as per company’s rules.
No. of Post & SBU: 02 (OBC-01, SC-01) ANTENNA
Tenure: 3 years
Qualification & Discipline: 3 Years Diploma or equivalent – Electrical discipline First Class
Experience (Post Qualification): Ex-servicemen from Army, Navy & Air Force in the rank of JCO or above with min. 15 years of post qualification experience
Tentative place of posting: HQ at BELGhaziabad and required to visit customer sites across India for maintenance of various projects.
06 (UR-04, OBC-01, SC-01) SCCS:
Tenure: 5 years
Qualification & Discipline: 3 Years Diploma or Equivalent – Signals /Electronics/ Electronics & Communications First Class. 3 Years Diploma or Equivalent Navy certification – Satellite communication/ Signals/ Electronics/ Electronics & Communications. First Class.
Experience (Post Qualification): Ex-Servicemen from Indian Army. (4 no.s of posts) Rank of JCO or above with 15 Years of post qualification experience. Ex-Servicemen from Indian Navy. (2 no.s of posts) Rank of Petty Officer/ Chief petty Officer or above with 15 Years of post qualification experience.
Tentative place of posting: In J&K (Srinagar/ Kupwara/ Jammu/ Rajouri), Navy’s sites (Mumbai/ Vizag)
02 (UR-02) RADAR:
Tenure: 3 years
Qualification & Discipline: 3 Years Diploma in Electronics or equivalent
Experience (Post Qualification): Ex-servicemen from IAF in the rank of JWO or above with 15 Yrs of post qualification experience.
Tentative place of posting: HQ at BEL Ghaziabad and required to visit IAF sites across India for Maintenance of THD radar.
1. SAEANTENNA SBU:
1. Essential Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Installation / commissioning / maintenance / overhaul of Radar system / any other electronic / electrical control systems / RF & Microwave systems.
2. Desirable: Maintenance experience in ElectroMechanical field is desirable
3. Job Description: Product support of Radar System including preventive and breakdown maintenance supplied to defence services at various sites in India. Repair of Radar equipment (fault diagnosis and rectification upto LRU level using test instruments and jigs) at the site and in factory at Ghaziabad. Liaise with Vendors, IAF, Army, Navy and SBUs for all product support activities Job involves posting at Ghaziabad and require frequent visit to different defence services sites.
2. SAE-SCCS SBU- (Tenure5years)
1. Essential Experience: Ex-servicemen from Indian Army Diploma(signals / electronics / electronics & communications).
2. Desirable: Minimum 15 years of experience in Installation / Commissioning / Maintenance / Overhaul of power systems, Satcom / Cellular Communication system, signals, etc.
Maintenance experience of Cellular Communication system
3. Job Description: Cellular Communication Network is established at various sites in J&K for Indian Army. Ex-Servicemen from Indian Army willing to be posted at sites in J&K. Posting at any of the site at Srinagar / Kupwara / Rajouri / Jammu and require visit to different Indian Army sites based on requirement. Fault diagnosis and their rectification of various microwave radio equipments, power equipments like DG, UPS & SMPS, other equipments used, etc. to maintain network availability. Maintaining record of various fault descriptions reported from different sites, etc. Liaison & co-ordination with Indian Army, Vendors and HQ, BEL, Ghaziabad, etc. Online monitoring of functionality of various sites from Srinagar / Rajouri, etc. Online rectification of various faults from Main locations at Srinagar / Rajouri, etc.
3. Ex-servicemen from Indian Navy Diploma (satellite communication/ signals/ electronics/ electronics & communications):
1. Minimum 15 years of experience in Operation/ Installation / Commissioning / Maintenance / Overhaul of Satcom / Cellular Communication system, signals, etc
2. Desirable: Operation/ Maintenance experience of Satcom system.
3. Satellite Communication Network is located at various Indian Navy ports namely, Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Karwar, Port Blair etc. Ex-Servicemen from Indian Navy willing to be posted at sites in Mumbai, Visakhapatnam, Kochi, Karwar& Port Blair. Posting at any of these sites and visit to different Indian Navy sites based on requirement. Fault diagnosis and their rectification of various Satcom equipments, Base band and Networking systems, Antenna and associated equipments including power systems and other equipments used to maintain network availability. Project management at sites viz. faults, spares and manpower management. Liaison & co-ordination with Indian Navy, Vendors and HQ, BEL, Ghaziabad, etc. Online monitoring of functionality of various sites. Online rectification of various faults from Hub locations at Mumbai / Vizag etc.
4. SAERADAR SBU- (Tenure-3 years): Ex-Servicemen from Indian Air Force
1. Minimum 15 years of experience in Installation / commissioning / maintenance/Overhaul of Radar system and sub systemviz Transmitter, Receiver , Signal Processor etc.
2. Maintenance experience of THD1955 Radar
3. Product support of Radar System including preventive and breakdown maintenance supplied to IAF at various sites in India. Age: 50 years for General candidates as on 01.10.2020 (relaxation as per Govt. guidelines for SC/ST/OBC candidates i.e. OBC- 53 years, SC/ST- 55 years). The upper age limit may be relaxed in case of deserving candidates at the discretion of management.

Selection Procedure :
1. Selection will be through a Written Test followed by an Interview (only for those candidates who qualify in the written test). The place of interview will be Ghaziabad only
2. Only short listed candidates will be called for the written test / interview.Candidates short listed for interview only will be reimbursed to and fro Second class train fare by the shortest route on production of the railway ticket receipt as per company rule
