Qualification Details:
Filling up of 1 vacancy in the grade of Data Entry Operator, Grade-B, in Level 5 of Pay Matrix Rs. 29200-92300/- on Deputation Basis in the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare. It is proposed to fill up one post of Data Entry Operator, Grade-B (General Central Service Group 'C' Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) in the Department of Agriculture, Co-operation and Farmer's Welfare in Level 5 of Pay Matrix Rs. 29200-92300 on Deputation basis.
Eligibility Conditions for appointment: (i) Deputation: Officials under Central Government
a. (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis; or (ii) With five year's service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2400 (Corresponding to level 4 of the Pay Matrix Rs. 25500-81100/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
b. Possessing the educational qualification and experience which are as follows:
i. 12th standard pass in Science stream with mathematics as a subject from a recognised board with one year diploma in Computer Applications or DOEACC-A level from a recognised institute and two years experience in EDP work in a Government office/PSU/Statutory/Autonomous Organizations/recognized institutions; OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications/Information Technology/Computer Science of a recognised University/Institute.
ii. A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for data entry work to be ascertained through speed test on computer.
Note 1: The Departmental Officers in the feeder grade category who are in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation; similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
Note 2: The period of deputation including the period of another ex-cadre post held immediately proceeding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceeding three years.
3. Duties and responsibilities attached to the post: Data Entry Work of various Division’s in respect of various schemes, to Scrutinize/validate and correct the data, to Prepare/typeset all India reports and Input Surveys related to various Divisions, to check the division's website for any type of errors in the data which is uploaded by NIC on the Division's website, to prepare statistical tables required by different users and by various Divisions of Ministry etc. 4. Regulation of pay and other terms of deputation:- The pay of the selected candidate will be regulated under the provisions contained in the DoP&T O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay-ll) dated 17/06/2010 as amended from time to time.
4. Period of deputation: Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organizations or departments of the Central Govt. shall ordinarily not to exceed three years
Age: The maximum age-limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
