Teesta-V Power Station(510 MW) a unit of NHPC Limited, a Scheduled "A" Enterprise, Govt. of India, invites applications from candidates meeting the requisite qualification and other parameters for engagement Of Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time) for the period of one year in Trades/ Disciplines mentioned below.
1. Posts: Apprentice
2. Discipline: Trade Apprentice-Electrician - 13 Seats , Trade Apprentice Fitter (Structural) - 05 Seats , Trade Apprentice Wirernen - 03 Seats , Trade Apprentice Welder (Gas and Electric) - 03 Seats , Trade Apprentice Plumber - 02 Seats
3. Trade Apprentice-Electrician - 10th pass with 02(Two) years ITI (Electrician) course
Trade Apprentice Fitter (Structural) - 10th pass with 02(Two) years (Fitter) Course
Trade Apprentice Wirernen - 10th pass with 02(Two) years ITI (Wiremen) course
Trade Apprentice Welder (Gas and Electric) - 10th pass with 02(Two) years ITI (Electrician) course

4. Period of Apprenticeship Training : The period of training shall be of such duration as indicated against the respective discipline in (A) above or as approved by RDAT.
5. Stipend: Trade Apprentice will be paid a consolidated Stipend of Rs. 9600HNine Thousand Six Hundred) per month.

Selection Process:
The selection shall be done on the basis of merit list to be prepared from the marks scored by the candidates in class 10th examination and ITI examination on equal weightage ratio. Preference shall be given to the candidates of Sikkim domicile.
