Ministry of Electronics and Information Technolow, Meity invites Applications from eligible candidates for filling up the post of Director General, NIELIT.
1. Posts: Director General
2. (a) Educational Qualification Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technolow in Electronics / Electricals / Electronics & Communications / Telecommunication / Computer Science / Information Technolow or Masters in Computer Applications or M.Sc in Physics / Design / Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics / Applied Electronics / Operation Research / Information Technology with 25 years of post Total Quality Management / qualification experience. OR Master's Degree in Tech. / Engineering in Electronics / Electricals / Electronics & Communications / Telecommunication / Computer Science with 22 years of post qualification experience. OR Ph.D in any of the above cited subjects with 17 years of post qualification experience.
3. (b) Essential Experience: The candidate must have atleast 5 years experience in Senior Management Capacity. II. Desirable; Thorough knowledge of (i) Policies of Government of India (ii) Corporate Management. B. Absorption/ Deputation (including short term contract):- Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous Bodies:- (a) holding analogous post on regular basis OR with three years regular service in Pay Scale of Level 14 in the Pay Matrix (Rs. — 2, 18,200/ in the Parent Cadre or Department. AND (b) Possessing the Qualification(s) and experience prescribed for Direct Recruitment mode,

Note 1: Period Of deputation (including short term contract) in another ex- cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other Organisation or Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed five years. Note 2: The maximum age limit for appointment by Deputation/ Deputation (including short-term contract) shall not be exceeding 58 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. Note 3: The maximum age limit for appointment by Absorption basis shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date for receipt of applications.
