Project Technical Assistant - 10 Posts
Qualification Details:
Applications are invited for the project posts mentioned below from the eligible candidates in the prescribed proforma appended below.
Project Technical Assistant (Senior Treatment Supervisor).
1. Essential Qualification: Graduate in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics / Life Sciences from a recognized University with three years work experience in public health project / health care management from a recognized institution (OR) Master’s degree in Sociology / Social Work / Social Sciences / Statistics / Biostatistics / Life Sciences / Public Health / Epidemiology.
2. Desirable Qualification and Experience: a) Knowledge of literature review, data handling, analysis and interpretation, report writing with evidence of paper publications b) Knowledge of statistical software(s).
3. Emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month.
4. Number of Post: 10 (ten) (Reservation will be as per Govt. of India Norms)
5. Nature of Duties : Assist PI in project management. Data analysis and manuscript preparation. Visit to study sites for data collection and monitoring . Coordinate with staff in field sites. Any other work assigned by the Director / PI / Co – PI / Superior Officer. Note Fully conversant in local languages.
6. Duration: 01 year (Extendable based on the performance and project requirements).
7. Name of the Project: IHCI – ICMR - 143.
Age: UR – 30 years, EWS-30 years, OBC- 33 years (including 3 years age relaxation) SC-35 years (including 5 years age relaxation) ST- 35 years (including 5 years age relaxation).
Instructions to the candidates:
1) The application should be as per the prescribed format (Annexure – A).
2) Candidates should enclose photocopies of educational qualification and experience and other testimonials duly self – attested along with filled application.
3) The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application.
4) Experience certificate should clearly state the nature of work during the period of employment.
5) No - Objection Certificate from the current employer (for Govt. / AB / PSU Servants only).
6) All posts are contractual for the duration offered. The appointment may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance and project requirement.
7) The incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIE / ICMR or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
8) The Director, ICMR – NIE reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts of cancel the recruitment or re – advertise the posts, without assigning any reasons thereof, no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
9) Candidates are advised to check ICMR – NIE website regularly for further information, changes, which will be updated from time to time.
10) Date, Time and Place of interview will be intimated by email separately to the eligible candidates.
11) Incomplete applications without relevant enclosures will be out rightly rejected.
