Qualification Details:
1. Post Name: Assistant Professor
2. Faculty of veterinary and Animal Science: 18 (These positions are available in Various Discipline)

4. Emoluments: The salary and seryice conditions shall be as prescribed by the UGC Regulations and Government orders issued from time to time.
5. Qualification:
i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system followed) at the Masters Degree Level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited f?reign University.The relaxation in minimum mark is applicable as per Sec 3.4(1), 3.5 and 3.6 Of UGC Regulation 2018 to the eligible candidates.
ii. a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;
b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;
c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;
d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/ her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;
e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph .D work in conferences/ seminars sponsored/ funded/ supported by the UGC/ ICSSWCSIR or any similar agency
iii. The Ph.D degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
iv. The candidates applying for this recruitment of should have minimum knowledge of speaking and writing in Malayalat» language as their mandatory details include extension services.
Age:
Should not have attained the age of 40 years as on the last date for submission of the application i.e. 20.08.202(). For candidates from SC category, there will be a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit.
Note:
The appointments will be made against the vacant posts on priority and interest of the University. Those Who are posted at stations other than Mannuthy/Thiruvananthapuram units are liable to serve 7 (seven) years in that unit to consider their application for transfer to any other unit.
