Qualification Details:
Online applications are invited for the 04 Honorary posts of Chairperson and 16 Honorary post Of Members in the various Child Welfare Committees in NCT of Delhi as per Section-27 Of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and Rules 15(3) & 88 Of Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection Of Children) Model Rules, 2016.
The Chairperson/ Member of the Committee will be paid honorarium of Rs. 3500/- per sitting or as decided bv the Government
Age:
The candidates applying for the honorary post of Chairperson/Member of the Child Committee should be above 35 years of age as on last date of application
Terms of Reference:
1. The candidates applying for the honorary post of Chairperson/Member of the Child Committee should be above 35 years of age as on last date of application
2. The Chairperson/ Member of the Committee will be paid honorarium of Rs. 3500/- per sitting or as decided by the Government
3. The duties of Child Welfare Committee call for full time sitting from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on all working days.
4. A Chairperson and Member of a Committee shall be eligible for appointment of maximum two terms, which shall not be continuous.
5. In addition to this the State Government has the power to terminate the services of any Member of CWC at any point of time in accordance with the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2015 & Rules thereunder
6. Chairperson/ Member selected by the Selection Committee should meet the criteria as envisaged in Sub-Rule 5 of Rule 88 of the JJ(CPC) Model Rules, 2016

Selection Process:
After scrutiny of applications the list of eligible shortlisted candidates shall be displayed on the website of the Department.

1. The applications shall be accepted w.e.f 09-06.2020 to 18.06.2020. The eligible applicants are advised to refer to the web portal www.wcddel.in for terms of reference of the appointment and eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to refer to Department's Notice Board/Website for any updates in this regard.
2. No other mode Of applications except online shall be entertained by the Department. The Department also reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies at any point of time.
