Qualification Details:
The Principal, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Govt. College, Silvassa invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts on Short Term Contract basis for a period of six months for Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Govt. College, Silvassa:-
1. Posts: Assistant Professor
2. No.of. Posts: 11
3. Consolidated Salary month:50,000/-
4. Qualifications: a. As per UGC Regulations (with NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D) with minimum 55% marks at Master's level. Candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for award of Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirements of minimum eligibility condition of NET.
b. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at the graduate and Masters level for the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ Differently-abled (physically and visually differently-abled) /Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non- creamy layer) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic records during direct recruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible, based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

Selection Process:
1. No T.A/D.A shall be made for appearing in the said Interview.
2. The selected candidates shall not have any right to claim for regularization and/or permanent post in future. They shall have to enter into an agreement with the authority for the period of engagement.
