Research Associate - 02 Posts
Qualification Details:
The eligible candidates are informed to attend Walk-in-Interview for the following Research Associates positions purely on contract/temporary basis against the sanctioned vacant posts in Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh as detailed below.
1. Position: Research Associates
2. Remuneration:
(i) Consolidated Pay Rs. 35,000/- per month for those with M.Sc (Hort. / Agri.) + 4 years B.Sc (Hons.) Hort./Agril.).
(ii) Consolidated Pay Rs. 40,000/- per month for those with M.Sc (Hort. / Agri.) + 4 years B.Sc (Hons.) Hort./Agril.) + NET.
(iii) Consolidated Pay Rs. 40,000/- per month for those with Ph.D 4 years B.Sc (Hons.) Hort./Agril.) + M.Sc (Hort./Agri.).
(iv) Consolidated Pay Rs. 45,000/- per month for those with Ph.D 4 years B.Sc (Hons.) /Hort./Agril.) + M.Sc (Hort./Agri.) + NET.
3. Qualification:
(i) Agricultural Extension and Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/Agriculture.
(b) A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
(c) Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
(d) NET qualification is desirable.
(e) The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching/ Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.
(ii) Home Science:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Home Science.
(b) A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
(c) Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
(d) NET qualification is desirable.
(e) The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching/ Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.
(iii) Live Stock Production:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science.
(b) A Master’s degree in the Dairy Production / Meat Animal Production / Poultry Production with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
(c) Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subjects or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
(d) NET qualification is desirable.
(e) The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching/ Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.
(iv) Veterinary Science:
(a) A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science.
(b) A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
(c) Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subject or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
(d) NET qualification is desirable.
(e) The desirable qualification for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching/ Research Associate is 2 years experience in the Research / Teaching.

How to Apply:
1. The posts are to be filled up on contract basis initially for a period of 11 months only and may be extended based on the performance (or) need of the institute (or) till the vacant posts are filled up on regular basis by recruitment.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for Walk - in- Interview. Candidates appearing for interview need to bring duly filled in application form with pass port size photo and all original certificates for verification and one copy of attested certificates to be handed over for office use on interview date.
