1. Name of Posts: Junior Technical Assistant (Mechanical)
2. 3 posts (2 UR#, 1 EWS)

4. Essential:- Pass in three year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education securing minimum of 60% of marks.
5.Desirable:- Proficiency in Computer Applications
6.Essential :- Minimum four years experience relating to works involving Installation & commissioning of mechanical system associated with major infrastructure projects in a Ship Building/Ship Repair Company/Marine related Engineering Company/ Heavy Engineering Company/ Government / Semi-Government Company / Establishment.
7. Job Requirements :- Oversee works carried out by the CME contractors, crane contractors and other equipments suppliers in full compliance with the Technical Specification in consultation with CSL officer in charge, carry out site measurement, certification of works, bill verification etc. as necessary, carry out inspection of incoming raw materials, coordinate with equipment suppliers during erection and commissioning stage, supervise maintenance activities, carry out any other activity necessary as instructed by the officer in charge, willing to work in extended duty hours and also on shift duty, conversant with the preparation of AutoCAD drawings.

5.Essential :- Minimum four years post qualification experience in matters relating to following functions in a Shipyard/ Heavy Engineering Company/ Commercial Establishment/ Government/Semi-Government Company / Establishment. a) IT systems and Network support. b) End user support and trouble shooting. c) Website management. d) ERP system support. e) Office work, creation of files, registers, records management and report generation. f) Maintenance of all systems as per ISO standards
6.Job Requirements :- Extend quick and prompt support to all day to day IT services and ensure that the issues reported by the end users are resolved at the earliest, minimize the downtime of the IT resources by putting plans in place for preventing the reasons for issues.
