Qualification Details:
Applications are invited for Selection of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the following discipline through online registration - website https://rac.gov.in
1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
2. Descipline: Mechanical Engineering, EEE, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering
3. Remuneration & Tenure: Rs.31,000/- per month (Consolidated stipend/ Consolidated Fellowship Emolument) HRA and medical facilities shall be admissible as per rules. Fellowship is initially for a period of two years and extendable as per rules.
4. Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in First Division from a recognized university with valid GATE score (OR) Electronics and Communication Engineering Computer Science Engineering Aeronautical Engineering M.E/M.Tech with First Division both at Graduate and Post Graduate level (Candidates having Degree fromfeinuniversitip§ should obtain equivalent certificate from 'Association of Indian Universities, Delhi) (No allied or equivalent Engineering discipline is acceptable)
Age: Un-Reserved - Not exceeding 28 years, OBC (Non-Cream Layer) - Not exceeding 31 years, SC/ST Ia Not exceed 33 years
Documents:
1. Self attested certificates / testimonials regarding Date of Birth, essential and higher qualifications along with mark sheets, and GATE score. caste etc.
2. The maximum file size of each attachment should not exceed 500kb and it must be legible when a print out is taken.
3. The uploaded documents must NOT be password protected. If any document / certificate furnished are in a language other than English. a duly self attested transcript in English of the same is to be attached
4. A recent passport size color photo (size not exceeding 30kb: resolution of 110x140 pixels)
5. Kindly note that the registration would involve fee payment Of Rsv 10/- for General and OBC creamy layer candidates.
6. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / OBC non creamy layer are exempted from the above payment.
General Instructions:
1. Those applications which are not locked by candidates in accordance with the instructions will be automatically rejected by the computer system and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard e) No request with respect to the change in any data submitted by the candidates will be entertained once the closing date of online submission is over.
2. No allied or equivalent engineering discipline is acceptable. Similarly, M.E (or) M.Tech engineering discipline, relevant to their B.E/B. Tech Engineering discipline is only acceptable. Only registered candidates will be shortlisted & intimated for Screening test and CBT/ written test through email. h) Shortlisted candidates only have to attend the screening test and CBT on the same day along with the printout of the online registered application and their valid Govt. approved identity card, Candidates are advised to keep visiting RAC website for updates issued from time to time
3. Applicants are advised not to change their registered mobile number and email as vital information will be intimated through SMS/ email, Candidates have to produce all certificates, in original. for verification before commencement of CBT/ written test. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy layer are required to produce the original caste certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of interview. m) Offer of fellowship does not confer any right for absorption in DRDO. The research fellowship may be terminated at any time during the tenure with a prior notice of one month. Fellows may resign with a prior notice of one month. It will be made available at RAC website rac.gov.in
Selection Procedure:
The Short listed candidates on the basis of the BE/ B Tech marks will appear for Screening test at CVRDE. Avadi, Chennai-600054 and Shon listed candidates from screening test will be required to produce original certificates for certificate verification. Valid candidates wul be required to appear for CBTI written test at CVRDE on the same day Candidates can plan their trave' accordingly The final Selection Of the candidates will be purely on the basis Of disciplinewise merit of aggregate marks of Screening test and CBT/ written test Candidates who do not qualify the CBT/ written test will not be considered for final selection irrespective of their screening test score. In addition to the above. any other selection tool / test may be administered. at the sole discretion of the Director, CVRDE Final result will be made available at RAC website (https://rac.qov.in) No TA I DA will be paid for attending Screening test and CBT or for joining, if selected
How to Apply:
Candidates are required to register online at the RAC website https://rac.gov.in/, On successful registration, the candidates may login before the closing date of the advertisement to fill the online application form. Candidates are advised to upload the requisite certificates (see para IV for details), the details of the application fee payment (if not exempted) and lock the application before submission Of the same. However, such candidates. if in regular service whether in permanent or temporary will be required to produce a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from the Cadre Controlling Authority/ Present Employer Candidates are advised to retain a copy of the completed application (pdf format) after locking the application form.
