Other Qualification Details:
1.Post Name: Junior Resident (NPG)
2. Pay: The candidates will be paid B/Pay Rs. 56,100/- Level 10 and Cell-1 (Revised) per month with other allowances inclusive of NPA as admissible under rules.(Total Rs.85,000 Approximately)
3. Qualification: a) The candidates should have passed MBBS (including completion of one-year Internship) or equivalent degree recognized by Medical Council of India. b) Only those candidates who have passed MBBS (including Internship) not earlier than three years before the date of walk-in-interview will be considered. It implies that those who have completed MBBS or equivalent course (including completion of internship) on or after 02.10.2016 will be considered. c) Those who had joined Junior Residency (NPG) anywhere else and whose services were terminated on account of unauthorized absence or any other disciplinary/ground, will be ineligible to be considered for these JR post even if they otherwise qualify.
Application Fee:
Rs. 500/- for General (UR), OBC & EWS category Rs. 250/- for SC/ST category Application Fee is exempted in case of candidates applying under PWD category.
Document:
(i) Candidate should bring duly filled in application with required documents on the day of written exam only. They need not be required to send such documents by post/hand to JIPMER.

(vii) For candidate claiming seat under OBC (NCL) category:-
(a) Latest OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate, obtained from the Revenue Authority, not below the Rank of Tahsildar issued on or after 01.04.2018. (Format appended).
(b) Declaration/undertaking for OBC- Non-Creamy Layer (Format appended).
(viii)For candidate claiming seat under SC/ST category:- Permanent SC/ST Certificate obtained from the Revenue Authority, not below the rank of Tahsildar.
(ix) For candidate claiming seat EWS category:-
(a) Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) shall be applicable as per Govt. of India policy Office Memorandum No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) DoPT dated 19thJanuary 2019 and 31st January 2019.
(b) EWSs Candidates should submit a certificate issued by the competent authority in the form prescribed.
(x) “No objection Certificate” from the present employer, if employed in Central/State Govt/Semi Govt Autonomous body from their respective organization along with their application.
(xi) Self-declaration stating that he/she has not been worked as a Junior Resident
(NPG) for a period of one year (Regular/Ad-hoc) in any Central/State Govt/Semi Govt Autonomous body.
General Instructions:
1. The candidates are advised not to bring any political or other recommendations to influence their selection. Such candidates will be summarily rejected. The appointment will be temporary and subject to termination at one month’s notice and without assigning any reason. If he/she wishes to resign his/her job, he/she has to serve one month’s notice or remit one month’s salary or pay thereof, as the case may be proportionate to the shortfall in the notice period. In this regard, the decision of the Director will be final.
2. The Competent Authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation, and changes to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice. Leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed as per Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme. The appointee shall not be entitled to avail any allowances/facilities being extended to the regular/permanent faculty members of the JIPMER, Puducherry-06.

Selection Process:
A written Examination based on MCQs in the subject concerned will be conducted for eligible shortlisted Candidate followed by personal interview. 85% of total marks will be for written test and 15% for Personal interview.

Interested and Eligible candidates may attend the Written test/Interview to be held on 03.10.2019 (THURSDAY) (08.30 A.M) at Exam Hall, Fourth Floor, Jipmer Academic Centre, Jipmer, Puducherry -06 along with filled in application in the prescribed format (appended) with the enclosure of the following certificates in original and an Self-attested copy thereof and the copy of the printout of fees paid through online. No fee is required to be payable by Persons with Disabilities (PwD’s) candidates.
