1. Qualifications and Specialization: Essential: a) Ph.D. (NET) in Physics (Optics and Laser Spectroscopy related topics). b) Knowledge in laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (essential) as a tool for investigating high energy materials (desirable). c) Experience in analyzing and classification of LIBS spectra of high energy materials. Desirable: a) Minimum 3 first author publications/ patent. b) Experience in handling ultrafast lasers and spectrographs.
2. Job Requirement: Investigation and Classification of high energy materials in standoff regime using femtosecond LIBS technique.
3. Salary: Rs. 47,000 p.m + HRA.
4. Tenure of the post: Position is initially for a period of six months and further extension may be given based on performance, mutual consent and a review by external experts.
